Honest question....does Huggy bear put on 10 lbs each off season? The wind breaker is barely covering his octo-mom belly. His attire over the years shows just how much he has given up.

when that couldn't fit over his gut, he doubled down on the wind breaker.

now, he has gone to wearing what amounts to a poncho.

and last night, the oversized poncho is now failing to completely cover his gut. His fat belly now has the luxury of constant fresh air flow.

Jacobi Boykins from Louisiana Tech was ejected from his game last Thursday night after receiving two technical fouls. He handled it a lot better than 99% of people on this earth. The two calls are mind boggling.

OMG what were the refs thinking he didn’t even do anything that’s ridiculous. I’ve seen way longer stare downs then that. That ref needs to be fired immediately.

Tom Crean to UGA. Wasn't a big fan of him at IU (as an IU fan), but I think UGA is a good landing spot for him.

Yep.....Expectations will be a lot lower and he won't have to go toe to toe with the biggies for the top recruits.

IU is a tough place to coach. I never really liked Crean's style of play to begin with but he did have a couple good years at IU. He walked in to a cluster with zero talent, so hard to fault the guy all that much. He did IMO shit the bed a lot when he did have the talent.

UGA is a good place, low expectation as you said, and has some great in-state talent. UGA has been pretty competitive at times so I don't see it as a total rebuild void of talent like IU was when he arrived. UGA is investing a lot in the program so I'm guessing he'll do a decent job.

While IU was up and down a lot this year, Archie IMO started seeing the fruits of his labor as the year went along. He's got a good class coming in next year, and Morgan should be back. If Davis comes back healthy and Smith and Green continue to improve, IU could be better than most think. The roster for the most part was weak as hell this year so won't judge him until he gets a few of his own players. I do like the return of D. If he ends up getting Romeo, I can see them competing for 1-3 in the conference next year. If they miss on him, I think they'll still be in the 3-5 range and into the tourney.

Austin Reaves is transferring from Wichita State. He is a career 45% shooter from 3 point land. He's currently a sophomore. So if Brey was interested in him, would ND allow him to transfer to ND or not?

I would imagine they would let him transfer in. That would be awesome. I haven’t heard anything about them trying to go for a transfer. There’s only like 1 or 2 scholarships left for the 2019 recruiting class so I wonder if we would even go for a transfer his offseason

What kind of coursework do Shocker basketball players take? Real stuff or cheese whiz?

Real world question at ND. Many are called, few are chosen.

16 players saw PT for WSU this season. 10 played average double digit minutes.

Reaves 6-5, 174, played in 33 games starting 11. He averaged 21.5 mpg, 8.1 ppg, tied for 4th most rebounds, 3.1 rpg. He had 7 treys in a half against Tulsa. Aside from the Tulsa game he made 1.4 trey/game.

Wichita State Shockers 2017-18 Statistics - Team and Player Stats - Men's College Basketball - ESPN

Has a history with a shoulder injury through HS and freshman year per WSU bio

Missed all of the 2016 summer workouts leading up to his true freshman season (including the team’s August tour of Montreal, Canada) after undergoing surgery on March 23, 2016 to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder… Suffered the injury midway through his junior season of high school while diving for a loose ball, and – with help from a brace – played through the injury for over a year… Had a similar procedure on his right shoulder as a high school sophomore … Reinjured the right shoulder on two occasions during his freshman season at WSU and missed three games (Nov. 29 vs. Southern Nazarene, Jan. 29 at Bradley and Feb. 1 at Drake)… Had another surgery on the right shoulder the spring of 2017 in an effort to correct the problem and spent the entire summer rehabbing.
