I just compared this kids weight to other guys on our roster. At 348 pounds, he's 20 pounds heavier than Quenton Nelson, and over 30 pounds heavier than both Mokwuah and Jarron Jones. This dude is an absolute monster.

... shift to DLine?

Honestly was thinking the same thing. If Hiestand has such good success with recruit OL guys, maybe you take a chance on the most athletic/big guy you can find, have Hiestand recruit him and plug him in where he can best help the team.

He has a fair amount of bad weight that will get cleaned up with a better S&C program and diet, pretty common for young OLineman.

The scary thing is that he actually moves pretty well for that weight too. And can you say mean streak?

He moves pretty well, but his pass blocking needs a lot of work. Nothing HH can't fix though.

Florida State, Miami and Notre Dame top 3 w/ fsu basically #1

"I just want to get my education," Reese said when asked what he is looking to get out of a school. "Football will take care of itself."

"The schools I have seen the most are Florida State, Miami and Florida, because that's of course like a five hour drive each way. I took a visit up to Georgia one time to see my old teammate Sam Vaughn. But other than that, summer plans are to take a few camp tours. We're going to Texas, we're going to stop by Tennessee, we're going to stop by Ohio State, we're probably going back to Wake Forest, we're going to Louisville, Kentucky — basically everywhere."

he has been invited to the Irish Invasion on June 19, but given the location of the school in Indiana, it has made it hard for him to schedule a trip.

"That's out there," Reese said.

Reese didn't rule out the possibility of taking an official visit to Notre Dame when asked if that's a possibility.

"Right now it's too early to tell," Reese said. "Hopefully [if] I do visit, I'll make the decision to make it an official visit or not."

Irish offensive line coach Harry Hiestand was at Ft. Pierce Central High earlier this spring to evaluate Reese and extend the bid from Notre Dame. Reese called it a nice gesture from the assistant coach to be there and one that has kept the two in contact.

"He's just a regular coach," Reese said. "He's not one of them type of people where you feel like he's an intimidating type of person. He's easy to talk too and a nice person. I got to meet him when he came down for practice and I think he's a really nice person."
