They recently lost Nygel Edmonds too. Is this Stanford making room for other players? Or admissions really saying no? I'd be inclined to say the latter. It's funny because we were discussing ND passing on these two guys earlier in the cycle in another thread a couple days ago.

I'm guessing the latter as well. Stanford isn't a program that tends to move players aside in preference to others. Heck, we rarely do it and we're usually more strapped numbers wise than they are.

I think he just decommitted and feel bad for the kid because that's where he always wanted to go. Good luck the rest of the way

Wonder if it's his decision.

i would say I can't see Stanford doing that, but A) I don't think they're as ethically moral as some would like us to believe and B) didn't Harbaugh do shit like this all the time?

Yes, Harbaugh was notorious for over-recruiting and then pushing out the guys he didn't need anymore when it got closer to NSD. No one even paid attention because they were mostly 2:s: and 3:s: guys Harbaugh did the same thing at Michigan this year, I believe he's pushed out about 4 guys so far.
