Notre Dame, competing as the No. 1 seed in its conference tournament for the fourth consecutive year, improved to
40-19 all-time in 28 total league tourneys (Horizon, BIG EAST and ACC).
With 16 points in Friday’s win, ACC Player of the Year Jewell Loyd of Notre Dame posted her 91st career double-figure
scoring game and her 30th in 31 games this season.
Lloyd now ranks seventh on Notre-Dame’s all-time scoring list with 1,774 points. She passed Alicia Ray (1,763 from
1999-2003) during Friday’s game.
Notre Dame’s Brianna Turner delivered 13 points and 10 rebounds on Friday, giving the ACC Freshman of the Year
seven double-doubles in her inaugural college season. Turner scored in double figures for the 21st time this season
and had double-figure rebounds for the eighth time.
With 13 points on Friday, Notre Dame sophomore forward Taya Reimer reached double figures in scoring for the
fourth consecutive game and 15th times this season.
Madison Cable’s 13 points gave the Notre Dame senior 17 double-figure scoring games for her career, including eight
this season.
Notre Dame freshman Kathryn Westbeld’s 10 points marked her ninth double-figure scoring game of the season and
her first since scoring 12 at Boston College on Feb. 8
