Jones told Loy that USC was his dream school and that ND was a little to conservative for him.

I suspect he was referring to the ready and willing members of the other sex, and not to academics of the respective institutions.

Here's what Sark had to say after the win against........... Arkansas State.

"For the first game against a very dangerous opponent, it was a good first win," said Sarkisian,

So what's the deal with Whataburger? Whataburger > In-Nout?

Yes

In-n-Out is all about the sauce on the burger, that is all you taste. Not saying its a bad taste, it is quite good. Plus In-n-Out fries are absolute trash, cardboard tasting junk.

In-n-out is a classic fast-food style burger, just 1000x better in every way. I don't know about Whataburger but you can't compare it to something like a Shake Shack (more restaurant style burger) or Five Guys (greaseball slop burger). An In-n-out burger is like a McDonalds burger but the meat and condiments are fresher, the sauce is better, the buns are on point.

Whataburger vs. In N Out is like watching a '86 Cutlass drag race a Prius.

Boooooooring.

At least In-N-Out tries to keep it as healthy as possible.

Someone needs to introduce him to Habit Burger, Smash Burger or show him where Portillo's is out in Buena Park.
He plays RB at SC.... he can afford to eat anywhere he wants.

Zero italics.

I know this is a burger discussion, but Portillo's is by far the most overrated Italian Beef ever. Puke

I agree when I'm in Chicago (up till the puke remark) but when you live between Arizona and Cali and Portillo's is all you get... you quickly learn to forget your love of Al's, Buona, Mr Beef, Johnnie's or even the greatest sandwich joint on earth.... Scatchell's in Cicero.

ok, on that basis, I'll agree. If that's the only beef you can get, it's way better than no beef. Now you need to try and find a place that serves a breaded steak sandwich out there.

Preaching to the choir bro... southsider here, grew up on Ricobenes. I fly into Midway and head straight up to Chinatown for my fix.

Wha? A double double has 670 calories and 41 grams of fat. LOL

You can't compare fast food with quality burgers either. :)

According to Caloriecount a Double double with cheese has only 440 cal and 30g fat

Calories in In-N-Out - Double Double Protein Style W/cheese No Spread | Nutrition and Health Facts

compared to 1000 cal in a Double Whopper with 64g fat.

Plus, In-N-Out is known for having more selective buying practices than the rest of the industry.

I'm no fan of In-N-Out but if it's all a lie, congratulations to their marketing department for making me and everyone in California and Arizona think they are a healthier (not healthy) alternative to other fast food burger joints.

NOW...

Let's talk Cali BBQ... it's a much worse situation than Mr. Jones bigger dilemma.

Bludsos was great when I've had them... good greens too... Smoke City was pretty good... most great BBQ places in So Cal are going to be more Cali style Santa Maria or Korean joints... it's just the preferred style around here...

btw,

Whataburger and In N Out are both super bomb for a fast food burger.

Bludsos BBQ
Randolphs Smokehouse

Thanks for the tip on Randolph's. That sounds like real BBQ and I'll shoot up to South Central this week for a go at it.. The man learned his trade the right way, which is the Memphis way, so it can't be bad.

As far as that other place. It's Texas BBQ so Jones might be happy but that's a serious No Bueno for me. I don't care for Brisket and I don't like Mesquite smoked food. Fruit and nut woods are best like Pecan or Persimmon. Hickory if not.

BBQ is serious stuff.

I only get the ribs at Bludso's. There is also a place called Maple Block Meat in Culver City that looks promising. I have heard good things but have yet to try it out. I am not really a fan of hipster BBQ but if they got the goods, I am there. I don't make it out to Culver City that often but it is definitely on my "to do list" of food places.

That's if you substitute lettuce leaves for the bun per the link you posted.

Whataburger is quite a stellar burger place, even though I'm not a big burger fan myself.

In 'n Out though is death on a bun. They never get my order right, and their fries suck. Their sauce also tastes like rat excrement.
