I mean all you fools calling for Wimbush to replace Kizer last year.

You got what you all wanted.

I want Book or Jurkovec to start next year kid has shown zero improvement. He’s not a QB.

Good young man, he was our best option. If there were someone better, they would have been in there.

Some of you would eat your own young.

I said early on in the year that Wimbush was our best chance at winning this year, but he has regressed throughout the year. Its not all his fault; we put him in a bad position. We gave an inexperienced QB a first time QB coach to teach him a new offense from a first time OC and expected him to get better while being watched by Kelly who has made his QBs worse the longer they are with him. It sucks that someone with his natural talent might not be the answer, but like with Zaire and Golson, sometimes all the talent in the world isn't enough when you get in your own head. I have to assume there is going to be a QB competition for next season and if Wimbush got this far into his own head when he was undoubtedly the starter I don't even know what a competition is going to do to him.

I laughed at those who called for Book. But seeing it now, an offense designed around Book would have 100% been better than this year’s result. Get the ball to Claypool/ESB/Stepherson and let them work.

Run the ball and then play action fake with Book all day long. Think about that.

Best option?? Not sure. He can barely pass at a 50 percent rate. Totally pathetic.

Whimbush is a bad thrower, and a qb that can’t throw teams attack that. Miami, Navy, and Stanford showed that.

Bk will ride BW next year I’m sure. Just like he couldn’t adjust and take Adams’s out.

Just sad. Hope we can win a bowl game, cause this ending was depressing.

The biggest problem Wimbush (if he’s back) will have next year is a weaker o line.

He had so much time to throw tonight and just can’t identify the open receiver. Next year with less time it will be tougher

I'm fine playing someone who is better. That person isn't currently on the roster.

Going back to the drive where ESB got the OPI. Why did we go with a pass there. We were gashing Stanford with the run.

If PJ is the answer, let's roll. If it's BW vs IB, then prepare for another year of Wimbush.

Do you think Book would be the worst QB in all of Power 5 college football?

Are you expecting him to go somewhere? No snark. Real question.

I'm not sure. I do know Book was only 17/34 for 146, 1 TD and 2 INT against a bad UNC team. I don't see him as the savior (as a game manager) or even a better option than Wimbush.

Probably not. He will be back. Whether he plays QB and starts is up to BK.

And that is a problem. BW is an OC’s worst nightmare. A player who mentally misses a big part of the Offensive opportunities.

Book with a full off season to develop will be at least better able to run the entire offense I.e. both passing and running. Davis can be the back up and BW can replace Adams as the starting QB.

BW may end up proving me wrong, but going ahead with him next year is a gamble.
