I didn't really have any good perspective on Drue's contract. I just knew that it was higher than what was originally speculated he could get on the open market.

There was an article on his signing that said that with his new contract, Drue is now the 17th highest paid linebacker in the NFL. Kind of surprising.

I think Drue started about half of the games, but that was only because of injuries.

It's assumed at this point that KC will not resign Gay and Tranquill will take his starting spot at Will.

If you watched the Super Bowl yesterday, how could you not be proud of the effort of Drue Tranquill for the Chiefs? I think he played a large role in keeping Barkley largely handcuffed. Kid had a great game while the rest of the team was basically a no-show. Lots of heart and so happy he represents ND.
