Wow. That is a shocker, as he is NOT your typical Stanford kid. He was a flake from the jump, only choosing USC because they were the hot team and he enjoyed the notoriety of being committed to the #1 team in the nation. Once they started losing suddenly he 'committed too early' and was committed but he was open, then he was solid, then he was taking other visits, and finally decided to open things up. And meanwhile USC got tired of his flaky ways so they stopped recruiting him.
So as Lax said, USC was happy to let him walk. I'm not a fan of his, plus I don't think he's nearly as good as other linemen Stanford normally recruits. I don't think he'll amount too much...
