So we obviously have an A-list of recruits coming for USC, but how common is it to have a group like that coming for a single game? Not only at ND, but other colleges. I imagine games like, LSU-Florida, Texas-Oklahoma, and Ohio State-Michigan have a nice group of officials, but anything to this magnitude?

Hopefully some of you guys who have been following recruiting longer and more intensely than I have/do can help me out. Thanks in advance.

I'm not as big into recruiting as a lot of other guys around here so i was wondering, with all the recruits coming in for the SC game, is there any chance we get a commit within a week or 2 of that game? again, im not huge into recruiting but any input would be appreciated

Of the 2012 guys I'd say Odenigbo, B Marshall, and Stanley are most likely but none are sure gets

There is absolutely a chance of that. The sheer number of recruits attending would mean it's pretty likely that at least one likes ND enough regardless of how the game goes.

That said, this questions is nearly impossible to answer without considering the outcome of the game. If we go out there and get stuffed by SC, it could ruin the entire recruiting cycle. If we play great, win, and the atmosphere is as good or better than the '05 USC game, then the commitments could start piling up.

Game was in Southern Cal. Our commits will recruit for us and the coaches and players will make sure each recruit feels wanted. Maybe coach Kelly will have breakfast at his place Sunday Morning.

I think Pearl had problems because the recruits weren't on official visits or it was during a dead period.

I could have sworn that I have read where recruits ate over at the coach's house on their official visits. I will try to find the links.

I think this is right. If you can get Ruth's Cris paid for on an OV I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get breakfast at a coach's.

We got work to do with Pocic. Jaylon Smith will take a lot of work. I wouldnt be shocked with Isaac IMO he will be Irish at some point.

Seriously...at this point where is everyone gonna fit with all these official and unofficial visitors for this game over the '12 and '13 classes.

I want to thank all the guys already committed for coming in this weekend to help out in trying to recruit the so far uncommitteds. With so many prospects coming in and it being a rivalry game, any help the staff can get from you towards helping land even more top talent is appreciated and just icing on the cake. You guys are great and your work now will be key to us continually improving.

Brennamen seems to have a lot of interest in ND. We got Koyack out from under PSU I can't see why this would be any different. Looking at how ND has incorporated its TEs into the offense and how successful they are at it would make sense for Adam. Don't hear a lot about TEs at PSU.
