Man I started drinking an hour ago... This is nuts...I'm gald my wife had to work tonight... She would think that I was nuts... This is the first time that I have followed so closely and it's nerve raking...I think that I will implement a live feed for the future and make lots of money off of it. Really. really.

Warchant has a thread where they are talking about moving on from Lynch.

II is talking about his decommit right now.

And everyone is linking the Blue and Gold article about his text to Jason Sapp.

He is not on campus yet, but I do not know how this is not good news!

This has got to be so rough mentally on this kid!! He is obviously agonizing on his decision.

Things happen for a reason Aaron!! Follow you're heart. Either way, I have respect for this kid for having the guts to stand up and say something when he didn't feel completely confident. Maybe its his mom, maybe its him, nobody but he and his family know at the moment. He will undoubtedly make a decision ( maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week, hell maybe not even til NSD...) and he will move on with whatever choice he makes.

I was thinking the same thing I check back every 45 minutes or so just to see whats going on. Every time I check back something new so it keeps me coming back. I think we know all we are going to know for the night though. I believe next week could be a huge week for Notre Dame, recruiting wise. We could land Ishaq, Carlisle, Lynch all next week would be beautiful. Scarlett is still in the mix but I don't believe we have all that good of a shot at landing him.

Lynch still looking at options

Lynch said he plans to meet with coaches from Florida State and Notre Dame on Saturday night and is still committed to the Seminoles but is considering a visit to the Irish soon.

Style of defense will play an influence in Lynch's decision and he prefers a 4-3 scheme like Florida State instead of Notre Dame which runs a 3-4.

"I want to go out and play," Lynch said. "I don't want anybody lying to me. I want to be able to trust the people I'm going to play for."I'm more of a 4-3 guy. I'm more speed than strength. For a 3-4 you need to be stronger. I have strength but my speed makes me as good of a d-end as I am."

After his solid week of practice and his performance in Saturday's Army game, Lynch has proven to be one of the nation's best defensive ends. But just how good?

The Cape Coral (Fla.) Island Coast recruit gives credit to Jadeveon Clowney, the top prospect by Rivals.com, but thinks he's in the same class.

"I'm not trying to be ****y but I think I'm the best," Lynch said. "Everybody is good. Everybody at this level who's in this game or the Under Armour game is great but I think I'm the best.

"(Clowney) is a lot faster than I am. I'm still fast. His 40 is a lot faster than mine. I'd even say his first step is faster than mine. I think the only thing that separates us is the 40 and stuff like that."

II has been talking about the decommit since the BG article, and the moving on thread has minimal posts. The relevant article is on the premium recruiting board started by Michael Langston. Ten minutes after he posted whatever it was FSU posters started congratulating ND posters.

I need to just shut the computer and check back in the morning. Checking in on tomahawknation.com and the **** they are saying is just straight up pissing me off. They claim he had to go to a FSU review board and get acceptance granted just to get in with his academics. That he hasn't been accepted to ND and that we are playing his mom like a musical instrument instead of him making a choice for whats best for his future. We don't have a short term selfish agenda as claimed on your boards. Sorry FSU guys as I'm sure your checking our boards here too, ND is above and beyond FSU in football and academics.
Ok I'm done. Now I really need a drink.
