Not sure exactly who you responded to but I will add a comment. I think this years football team is how the ND basketball team was when Harangody played. They look to get the ball to Floyd alot. Which leads to Rees not looking as hard for the other WR's. Floyd is a beast and deserves that, but I think when he leaves it will FORCE the offense to spread the ball around a lot more.

Floyd will be missed but others will have to step up which will possibly make for a more dynamic offense.

I think this is a really appropriate comparison. And let's hope the results are similar.

Stacked? Really? Our Oline will have a ton of experience but who exactly are we going to throw the ball to besides Eifert. Losing Floyd will make it that much harder to get the ball into Eifert's hands. Our RB depth is thin as it is. Maybe Atkinson pans out but I still think he is best suited at WR because he runs too upright. Just don't see how the offense is going to be stack.

Really dude? A more consistent theo riddick, an older tj jones who is having a solid year as is. Those are two pretty good and very dangerous wide outs right there

It's really been the Tommy Rees show this year. I love it how he makes players like Eifert, Floyd and Goodman into super stars. Definitely wouldn't give any credit to the running game nor are defense...

O wait. NM. Tommy's been ok, the rest of the team (with a few key exceptions, especially on D) is freakishly good, and we've played a pretty soft schedule this year.

Cocky or not good football dictated that he set up for the FG and get out of there with a win. Not throw for the endzone with your backup QB.

Our defense is slowing dying due to injuries, our one strength is being absolutely destroy to injury and now count Lynch on that list. If anyone thinks we are going to Palo Alto and actually winning, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you for cheap.

I remember reading before the season started that some people thought that Notre Dame's defense would be comparable to the SEC. hahahaha. What an absolute joke. I watched both games last night. The bama and LSU game had passion, speed, crazy athletes, and guys that were playing their heart out on every play. It was the most physical game I've seen in a while. Notre Dame seemed lost in space with no big playmakers to be found. Notre Dame is a long way away from being able to compete at a BCS level.

And you are sorely underestimating Wake's offensive talent, especially Givens, who was averaging over 17 yds per catch before ND completely bottled him up that 2nd half.
