Jimmy Clausen is the biggest recruit to come to ND under Weis...hopefully he lives up to it.

You're right about Manti. I wasn't talking about him, in fact I said that he probably wouldn't be affected by that stuff, but I was talking about most recruits in general.

As for South Bend women vs. L.A. women, sorry, physically speaking there is no comparison. ND has some hotties for sure, but the depth and overall quality pales in comparison to USC and UCLA (of course $C and UCLA are much larger schools). It's really no contest. However, as far as the overall woman, the complete package, a woman you can take home to mom and pops, well as you said, that tilts WAY in favor of ND women. It is 100 times harder to find a good lady out here than it is in the midwest. I was lucky enough to find me an ND grad, born and raised in South Bend but doing volunteer work in Los Angeles, and we're getting married next year. Couldn't find anyone NEAR her quality out here. Props to SoCal, ACamp and Go Irish for finding good women down here - they're a rare breed.

P.S...Of course, in college I wasn't looking for a wife, and neither are most of these athletes, that was my point. Peace...

5.Start Tailgating like a Champion
6.Walk to the Acc to Pee
7.Head to game almost too drunk to be around other people
8.Sober up during the game a little
9.Post game- Hit Steak and shake
10.Head to the Linebacker
11. Call cab back to hotel
12. have sober buddy drive us back to steak and shake at about 4am
13. Throw up while ordering- that actually happened SD state weekend and the girl waited for me to stop, then asked me if I wanted cheese sauce with my fries...awesome!!! Now that is customer service..

Top 'backer Manti Te'o schedules three visits
Under Armour All-American linebacker Manti Te'o doesn't have much free time between playing linebacker at Punahou High, playing basketball, talking to coaches by phone or hosting coaches at his family's home in Honolulu, but Te'o will find the time to take three official visits in January, ESPN affiliate Web site WeAreSC.com reports.

"He's going to BYU on Jan. 9th, Stanford on Jan. 14th and USC will be the last on Jan. 30th," said Manti's father, Brian Te'o.

Two head coaches and two assistant have stopped by the Te'o household so far for in-home visits. "Coach (Charlie) Weis and Coach (Jim) Harbaugh were the first two, and Coach (Ken) Norton from USC was the most recent," said the nation's No. 4-rated overall player.

Here is what I am thinking about Te'o. With the Irish visiting, I think that this comes in lew of his visit to South Bend. While he has announced only three offical visits to Stanford, BYU, and the @#%#ers from L.A., I think we are still very much in the mix for him.

I think ND has a good chance. Why not? He's interested in values, academics, and football. ND offers all of that to him. Here is an interesting article from an ND grad, who now teaches at BYU. It's faith related, but shows why ND is a great place for faith.
