I am not saying that he is a guy who backs out on his word, ala Little's. I am saying that I believe he wants to stay in the South. No disrespect meant to Page. He has done nothing wrong in the recruiting process, just feel he is a southern boy.
I believe they also used that visit as an opportunity to say hello to a Jr at Page's school too.
Are you sure you're not thinking about Chris Bonds from Richland Northeast? It's also in Columbia.
Agreed. Page isn't going to be Irish.
And how on God's green earth would he start on the OL if he did?
Not every kids recruitment is as chaotic as KP either. Since he has been to visit ND he has said that Tennesse was the best school he ever seen then after another week Clemson was his favorite. When you follow recruiting long enough getting a read on these kids get a little easier.
I've seen kids being described as a 100% lock to a certain school, based on inside info from recruiting sites - I mean people were dead sure of it - just to see the kid pick a different school when it came time to announce.
When I was a senior in high school I couldn't even decide what to get at McDonald's let alone where to go to college when there are 20+ big time programs chomping at thebit for me.
The word "lock" shouldn't even be allowed in recruiting anymore.
I will use that curse word LOCK for this kid. He is a LOCK to stay in the south. I will bet my blue and gold jock strap on that one. I really wish he would become Irish, but just don't see it. The article on "Distance Not an Issue" was just a smoke screen. Sorry guys, this kid just won't come north.
