He ment defense. Gerell never played offense full time for Hamilton before this year, that's one of the big reasons he was listed as a S, or an ATH to start the year. I know some also see him having the potential of a ball hawking Safety similar to Taylor Mays, but I would imagine he's not as fast as Mays though.

ND is recruiting him as a WR, but the sheer numbers at WR on ND's depth chart look like it may be a major cause for concern for Gerell. That's why some people are hoping that he'll remain open to playing Safety, that way if WR doesn't work out then he'll still be able to find a spot on the field to showcase all that talent.

in addition to that, we have a good class of safetys coming in, i think he would be better off, lifting like crazy and turning himself into a hybrid safety/linebacker and giving us the option of puttin him anywhere on the field. this would improve his stock come NFL time also

I would be pleasantly surprised to get Grob and Dwalk but Martin committing this soon?

I find that hard to believe considering ND just began contacting this kid a little while ago and he said he is real close with the UM commits. If Corwin pulls this off this fast, hats off to him...

I'd be more surprised with DWalk. A lot of PSU people have been feeling very good about him over the past couple months. But, in the last week or two, the feeling has turned sour (for some, but not all, of them). I can't figure out what has happened recently to turn the tide.

Wouldn't he need an offer to commit. He hasn't even seen the school and with his wrestling season going on right now he probably won't. I think he has low intrest in ND

Your right he did get an offer yesterday and said that he will visit in the next couple of weeks. Most likely he would have to cancel his official to Michigan to visit on the 11th.
