    I’m with you. I see a Rover/Star, hybrid defender.

It’s easily one of the worst coaching jobs in college ball. He took a perennial playoff contender and turned it into a barely bowl eligible 6 win team. Oklahoma hasn’t won 6 games or less since 1998. That is what failure looks like. And now you head to the SEC where they play real football.

Very similar to Kyren in that I don't think he wows in any aspect of his play except production. Over time the production becomes undeniable. I'd hate to lose him.

No idea but they need Numbers. Been saying for awhile that they needed numbers this cycle and it looks like we're getting there. In hindsight, they royally fucked last cycle at DB. For a class that needed DB's, they ended up with 3 that turned into 2. Now, it looks like they got 2 good ones...

    2023 Transfer QB

Yes, I can imagine that. At which point you play for the future. Pyne does nothing but keep you at mediocrity.

    2023 Transfer QB

I don't think this is likely but if we're talking worst case scenarios. I think the worst case scenario should be, we do a full reset with Minchey as your starter. That, at the very least, provides a young QB with upside some game film/reps for the future. In no way shape or form do I want to...

    2023 Transfer QB

Seems unlikely that Pratt would beat Card to the punch though with his bowl game being not being until Jan. 2nd. The way it seems to be setting up here is, if Leary and Armstrong are off the table and there are no other names on the board, then if the staff wants a transfer QB it's pretty much...

Tillery also didn't have a GF who played soccer at LSU.

    2023 Transfer QB

There is certainly a balance or sliding scale that includes a lot more than just who we think is the best. If there was a world in which back channel communications confirmed Pratt to ND, he'd be my guy. Without that information, I would be very happy with Card.

    2023 Transfer QB

I like the upside of Card. I think he could really blossom into something in the right place. With that said, it'd be really hard to say no to the proven production of a guy like Pratt. Especially when there are throws like these all over the place.

'18 PA QB Phil Jurkovec (Wherever I May Roam Chud)

My post above was a total joke but if this actually happens it wouldn't surprise me to see him throw a legit fit on the sideline at some point. He's entitled douche of the highest order that would likely malfunction if this occurred.

This, Herron would be a solid guy to take a look at.

'18 PA QB Phil Jurkovec (Wherever I May Roam Chud)

Seriously. He probably doesn’t even want him, he just knows he has no other options. But, it’s destiny, those two deserve each other. It’ll be funny when we run up the score on those turds next season with Minchey scoring a late game TD while Phil bursts into a tantrum on the sideline. At...

This means we only have 2 DB's from the '22 class. Yikes.

I mean, the Bowen’s aren’t really going to leave this up to a signing day flip with a fax to Norman, right?

'22 NJ QB Steven Angeli (Notre Dame Signee)

Lost in all the talk about Buch and Pyne is Loy’s note in Angeli. Apparently the expectation is to get him some run in the bowl game. Showing big time arm potential.

'20 CT QB Drew Pyne (ND->ASU->MO->BGSU Transfer)

Tin foil hat time. ND wants to see what Buch has before the competition with the incoming transfer in the Spring. If they just make Buch the starter with Pyne available, it might look like to said transfer that Buch is the incumbent starter. If Pyne leaves the program before the bowl game...

'20 CT QB Drew Pyne (ND->ASU->MO->BGSU Transfer)

I'd say this is an out of character, douchey, move from Drew. He must seem to think that he has to get in the portal now for him to have a chance at any reasonable spot. But, can't he enter the portal and still play in the bowl? Just bizarre. Unless Buch really is that healthy and they told...

'21 CA QB Tyler Buchner (ND FB -> Bama FB -> ND LAX???)

Precisely. I don't care if it's Card, Buchner, Leary, or Armstrong starting next season. I care that the starting QB at ND is being earned. This goes one step further into ensuring that said QB is prepared for the 2023 season. Buch was given the job because there was no reasonable...
