I'm not even that upset with the game yesterday for Arsenal. WHen Laca came in, the team was instantly more exciting and made pushes towards the box. I think Ozil was not good, but his vision was there. He made nice attempts with the ball, but it never got to where he wanted. So, at least he is...

Still with Arsenal. Signed an extension in the winter I believe. Had a major setback with an ACL injury, and complications arising after the surgery. Hasn't played in over a year.

I feel like Fox would do really well for them, again even for just the Old Firm. They would really hype it up I think. I know the Bundesliga is on Fox, but idk a thought. Never had BeIN, but I've heard good things. Sad that ESPN will only show one a week. They could really do a good job of...

Definitely agree with this here. The people that always use the, we have 300+ million in the country argument have a flawed one. China and India never make noise. It's all about development, retaining top athletic talent in soccer (not letting them slide away to football, basketball, etc.), and...

In a way, setting up deep ready to strike with the counter is a perfect fit with a team that can use defensive players (Kante) to win the ball back and go full force forward. People will rag on Giroud, understandable he didn't score, but his hold up play was pretty good all tournament. This...

The only time I didn't like VAR was yesterday. Even so, it was the right call to use VAR, but really thought they still got the call wrong. It was the Egypt V Saudi Arabia game. The second penalty for Saudi Arabia in the 1st half. Dude went down way too easy. So to award the penalty, review it...

Egypt played an absolutely brilliant game for all but 1 minute. As such Uruguay gets the 3 points...

Yeah... CONMEBOL and AFC should definitely be swapped. Hell, I think you could make an argument for AFC to get even less than that and give CONCACAF more! For this World Cup, I'll be quietly rooting for Egypt to get through their group, Belgium, and Nigeria (only because of those dope uniforms).

Lichtsteiner to Arsenal on the free transfer. Should provide good cover at RB.

If Salah isn't hampered by his injury... I say watch for Egypt. They can get out of Group A, maybe give a scare to Spain or Portugal.

Yeah. It looked like a done deal last week for Arteta, but then apparently he wanted veto power, so Arsenal pulled the offer. Their going with Emery it seems.

Very interesting. All signs pointed to Arteta. I'm not sure how I feel here.

Yup. My buddy is a big Liverpool fan, so we'll be having a party at his place for it. Can't believe I'm rooting for them...

Agreed. Hell even the job Wagner did to keep Huddersfield in the Premier League deserves acknowledgement.

Reading up on LAFC's stadium, I really love what they did to make the place steep so the crowd is loud and close to the pitch. From everything Lion says, I think Cincy would do great things, support wise at least, in the MLS.

I watched the last 30 minutes of the Seattle/LAFC game on Sunday night. WOW, what a crowd for LAFC's debut! Let alone how many people were watching from home. If the MLS can continue to get that kind of support in person, the brand will keep growing.
