On one hand, I have a hard time thinking the bears would draft Carter, especially with McCaskey's reluctance toward players with alleged character issues. On the other hand, they tolerated Lance Briggs throughout the years.

Based on some of the scouting reports, Skoronski is projected to be a guard. That said, I think there's a scenario in which Poles signs a veteran tackle and then drafts Skoronski. Could fill an immediate void at guard while opening the possibility of moving him to tackle.

Very curious to see what Orlando Brown does. My inclination is that Poles wants to keep Braxton Jones at LT, but I'm sure Orlando Brown is looking for +$20M AAV with a massive guarantee which aligns with LT money.

I don't think there was ever an offer that big unless it came from a team in the back half of the draft. That said the Colts need to be careful of the Cardinals. The Cardinals are absolutely taking calls for the #3 pick now from the Falcons or Raiders.
