Not a good time but he’s a good RB. And, he’ll be a good RB in the NFL. All that happened was a good front office is going to get him at a better price. Sucks for Audric short term but maybe not long term.

No need to push him out or do anything rash, IMO. But, the difficult conversations should be had. And, be prepared to act on whatever he does. If he takes that visit then be prepared to have QB's to ND for visits as well. All the while making sure he knows he's wanted in South Bend.

Any position that is lite on numbers, over recruit by one.

I think Bama had. But I think we’re seeing it even impact ND. 10 years ago, no way Al Golden isn’t taking a HC gig at a lower P5 school after last season. But, the combination of pay is up so much for an ND coordinator, staff is much larger which makes his recruiting responsibilities less...

I think what we're seeing is the start of the bigger/elite football schools consolidating coaching talent. For the big/elite programs, the pay is worth it. And, the staffs are big enough that the crappy responsibilities that come with today's climate are passed down.

Seriously, this is getting way too much attention. If the addition of Bettis makes or breaks the WR class then we have bigger problems. You are adding 1 WR to a class of 4 or 5. And, 1 WR to a depth chart of 10+. This is not some watershed moment. Good grief.

My opinion this has a lot to do with their history. Day played for Chip at New Hampshire. Immediately after, Day coached TE’s under Chip at NH. Then Day eventually followed Chip to Philly and San Fran as QB’s coach. It’s all about trust. Day’s convinced he can trust Chip to call plays...

Very good coach. I hate losing good coaches. Though, I like Bullough and think he’ll do well.

This narrative continues to allude me. We must have very different definitions of what failing is. With that said, I would not hire him to be a HC.
