Unsure why I’m even entertaining this. More so it’s proof of how weak the original points you made were. No. Like I said two years ago. These were/are very good players that Elston should’ve never been trashed for. And, Washington would do nothing more than ride those coattails. Good on him.

Agreed. Seems like a bizarre coach for a young QB to hook their wagon to.

You said JJB was a “non-factor” at OSU but give Washington credit for developing 3 guys who are even less of a factor at ND than JJB was at OSU. The rest of this is you just trying really hard to move goal posts. Have at it.

A non-factor at OSU? He played 249 snaps in 2022. He just came to ND so he could play 75%+. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2022-peach-bowl/2023/01/136680/peach-bowl-snap-counts-dallan-hayden-xavier-johnson-mitch-rossi-and-joe-royer-play-expanded-roles He developed...

Because he still hasn’t. Name one player that wasn’t a starting caliber player that now after two seasons is? He’s bringing back all of Elston’s guys or a transfer because of it.

After two seasons he hasn’t developed a single player that wasn’t already playing or expected to play starter level snaps. He’s been living off Elston’s guys and veteran transfers. Maybe that changes this year, doesn’t seem likely, but Washington is super overrated as a coach.

Jaw hits floor. Is it Spring Practice yet?

At the end. Paraphrasing a bit here. Is there a part of your game that people don't talk about enough? I'd say my speed. People assume I'm a 4.4 guy but I'm much faster than that. They'll see soon enough.

'21 NJ RB Audric Estime (Notre Dame Signee)

My thoughts exactly, Jones still looked great down the stretch but he's 29 and they have a very good young core on offense they should start to plan for the inevitable with him.

Not necessarily saying this will happen, I wouldn't bet on it, but I could see some playoff, RB needy, teams like Baltimore, Cleveland, Dallas, Green Bay, etc take him at the end of the 2nd. If my Cowboys took him there, I'd be cool with it. Put differently, I wouldn't put it the odds of that...

I think so as well. A smart team will draft him in the 3rd or 4th round and end up with a productive RB for a several years.

ND's Talking Heads ... The good, bad & ugly

If I walked into my son's room and he was playing Fortnite with "Sweaty Mike", I'm unplugging it and calling the cops.

'19 HI ATH Marist Liufau (Notre Dame Signee)

He's been 239 on the Notre Dame roster all season. IMO, Marist can carve out a nice role in the NFL. He fits the mold of a situational LB that can find success in today's NFL. Versatility and situational football is the name of the game.

25' KS TE Linkon Cure (Offer)

Per Sinclair, the staff is going to visit him next week but at this point he’s focused on other schools. Loy thinks he’s unlikely to be in the class. Hence the CB to KSU.

    Al Golden

I’m assuming this is tongue in cheek. But I feel compelled to ask… Golden is a part of Freeman’s coaching tree? And, Porker is considered a success?

I mean, prior to the most elaborate cheating scheme college football has, maybe, ever seen. Michigan was 11-8 over their last 19.

    All Things pOSU

I mean, that's a bit of a loaded question. I wouldn't want Howard because we got Riley. And, I wouldn't pay 1.5M for Judkins because we have Price and Love. But, that doesn't negate their value to OSU. Or, the fact that they are adding all these guys to an already loaded roster and income...
