    2022 Fall Camp Thread

It's not an exception to the rule though. In addition to the ones named already: Burrow, Goff, Trubisky were 4 stars outside the top 200. Russ, Cousins, Lamar, Ryan, Mac Jones, Mayfield, Z Wilson, Pickett, and Mariota were 3 stars. Lance, Daniel Jones, Jimmy G were 2 stars. Wentz was...

'23 FL DE Keon Keeley (Prodigal Son)

Kyle Hamilton had a similar trajectory, and we landed him. I wonder if we would have in the NIL era. I think yes, because he seemed to really value all ND had to offer but it was a thought I had after seeing how Keeley's recruitment is playing out.

'21 CA QB Tyler Buchner (ND FB -> Bama FB -> ND LAX???)

There's really only 3. TB, Ewers, and Haynes King who won the A&M job last season but had his season ended after 1 game.

'22 TX RB Jadarian Price (Notre Dame Signee)

It used to be that an Achilles injury was effectively a career ender for RBs. Even when they were able to recover, they weren't the same. However, there are some new treatment techniques that have been having much more positive outcomes. Here's a really good article talking about Cam Akers...

'24 MI QB CJ Carr (Notre Dame Signee)

Sampson said in his article today that if he had to bet on it, he'd bet on Carr being ND's QB in the 2023 class
  6. General Colon Bowel

'23 LA QB Arch Manning (Texas Signee)

As an ND fan from birth who graduated from A&M - absolutely. I'm sure proximity plays a factor in my opinion, but I ended up loathing A&M sports because of how obnoxious and delusional their fan base was (and continues to be).

'23 CA WR Rico Flores (UCLA Transfer)

Terry McLaurin was #250ish and Parris Campbell #150ish nationally on 247. So not all 5* studs. They identify and develop very well

2023 - State of the Recruiting Class

Yeah that's my bad. I meant Bell, not Ausberry. Like Dale posted^ Bell, Flores, Gray could be the next 3 commits and then everyone seems to be real confident Moore could pop soon too.
  9. General Colon Bowel

2023 - State of the Recruiting Class

I listed them in order of ranking on 247 (highest to lowest). By most accounts Ausberry, Moore, and Flores are the ones closest to committing. The others we're still battling for but there's varying degrees of optimism for each coming from the recruiting sites

2023 - State of the Recruiting Class

I think we'll finish top 5. If we add Ausberry, Moore, Jagusah, Love, Gray, Greathouse, Flores, Bell, Hanafin that would put ND with 301 points with a 24 man class. That's without considering the possibility of Dante (or another qb/Carr reclass), Richard Young, Freeling, Downs, or M'Pemba...

'23 MO RB Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame Signee)

Jumped all the way from outside the top 250 to #49 in the new Rivals 250
  12. General Colon Bowel

'23 IL WR Malik Elzy (Illinois Verbal)

Moved up to #110 in the new Rivals 250
  13. General Colon Bowel

'23 MO DE Samuel M'Pemba (Georgia Verbal)

#61 that he's beating in the first few clips there is Francis Mauigoa, #2 OT, #8 OA in the 247 composite
  14. General Colon Bowel

'23 MI QB Dante Moore (Greek Spaghetti Transfer)

He comes from a long line of oil money, so even though he never got a big second NFL contract, he's still got plenty of wealth from his family and can live a pretty lavish lifestyle that I'm sure attracts some women despite his well publicized issues.
  15. General Colon Bowel

'23 FL RB Sedrick Irvin Jr (Stanford Verbal)

I Don't think there's anything wrong with it at all if there's honesty involved. If they never made any promises about the number of backs they would take, then it's perfectly fair to tell Irvin at this point "hey we think we're gonna take 2 more backs this cycle. We'll honor your scholarship...
  16. General Colon Bowel

'22 WA WR Tobias Merriweather (Notre Dame Signee)

For a guy his size at his age? Pretty good. Roughly translates to a 4.49-4.55 40
  17. General Colon Bowel

    2021-2022 Notre Dame Men's Basketball

He's likely going to be guarded by the B10 defensive player of the year, so he'll either need to play lights out or we'll need to find alot of offense elsewhere
  18. General Colon Bowel

'23 TX WR Braylon James (Notre Dame Signee)

Nothing big, he released a top 9.
  19. General Colon Bowel

    2021-2022 Notre Dame Men's Basketball

They probably need to go 8-1 looking at the schedule. Wake and FSU are the only top 100 teams left on the schedule. Any losses against any other team will be looked at as bad losses. And at least one more top 100 win would seem necessary too. The committee puts alot of importance on Top 100...
