People over complicate the Marcel Reed thing. He had a really good OC, NFL WRs, and a NFL OL. Of course he looked good at times. Now he doesn’t besides Craver have any of that.

I guess, although Miami held them to 3 in their building.

Ignoring the weather you didn’t mention aside…Great. Miami went to the national championship. Nobody ever once said Marcel Reed was like a first overall pick. The A&M offense was good, Reed just happened to be the QB.

False. Bama is NOT better than ND. It wasnt that Bama played good, it is just that GA was overrated. Both had serious ESPN bubbles. ND vs Bama isnt that much of a game

Before last Saturday I held the same opinion. Then I watched this team attempt to defend Bear Bachmeier. I can’t imagine what they’d look like when they have to defend future pros.

Also, Reed didn't even play that well in our game. He had a sub 50% completion percentage on the game and was just throwing 50/50 balls up a lot of the night. Very frustrating game.

Marcel Reed is 9/13 for 109 yards in the first half and has two TDs. So probably pretty bad!

We're not well coached, and haven't been at least since Golden left. (And, frankly, since Leonard left, because Denbrock doesn't call plays properly with Carr.)

I don't know if we're better than Bama or not. Who cares? Would anyone feel confident playing Bama? Or any other top 25 team, frankly?

Is UGA even that good? Why do we think either of those teams is better than ND or BYU?

So I’m starting to think we won’t see Dylan Raiola behind center for the Ducks next year

This is just a weird year in CFB.

A lot of the best teams are losing mind boggling games. Georgia lost at home to a mediocre at best Auburn team, who got routed at home today by LSU. Texas lost back to back games to unranked teams. Oregon is unranked and losing to Illinois currently. Alabama has two losses and is deadlocked at home with a bad A&M squad. Miami managed to avoid a loss last week, but needed OT and a favorable call to avoid losing to an awful FSU squad with a lame duck coach.

If that’s your take, I’d take the week off the board… respectfully

No. Respectfully. It’s a Saturday watch thread. I didnt even say if you wanna talk about BYU loss even. Some of the conversation here has legitimately zero to do with this thread. Freeman thread, Ash thread, Denbrock thread, Pete thread, who cares thread, have at it.
