This team is built on defensive chaos. Tonight have gotten zero pass rush. Traore out obviously hurts but to make a comeback gonna have to force a turnover or two.

The good news is the recipe to win this game is easy.

On d: stop the qb runs and option. Take it away. Let him throw, he will make a mistake.
On offense, just run the damn ball and lean on them.

Probably going to need a turnover.

We do that we win. Don’t, we lose. It’s no longer complicated.
Let him throw? He looks like Peyton Manning against this secondary

Bottom line is that whack shit happens all the time in football. Georgia lost to Auburn, Miami is tied with FSU.

You go on the road against a Top 10 team you -- at minimum -- need to play clean. We have left 10+ points on the field from self-inflicted bullshit on offense.

On defense, it's another story. Wake me up when Chris Ash's unit shows up against a "good" offense for the first time. Everything is just wide open in the pass game, they are getting their first read every single play.
Ash got lucky last year i think we played like 4 games where the other team had their QB out

In the second half.

The problem is right now we’re down 11 going into the 2H instead of tied.

Tougher for the constrictor to tighten when you’re down.

We’ll see.

Go get 6 and then get a stop and we’re okay.

The chaos has been generated against absolute trashcan football teams.

Time and time again, the entire Notre Dame program has proven they have a glass fucking jaw and can't get back up off the mat when the other team hits first.

They blew it dead. There is nothing to recover
Correct, the rule is that it has to be a clear and immediate recovery. It wasn't. The guy came in late and told his teammate to jump on the ball.

Is what it is, half runs out with 10 second runoff if we had recovered it instead of them, bottom line is that CJ fumbled.

The defense has been horrible, but this is largely on C.J. He's missed two should be touchdowns, is off target, inaccurate, and just generally looks scared. Then that bullshit to end the half. He needs to wake up or we're getting boat raced.
Nah, CJ shouldn't have to be perfect for us to beat this team. This is all on the defense. When BYU goes and plays a real team in the playoffs they'll score 10 all game.

That's why I love college football. Theese things happen all the time. Keeps it interesting!
