Kyren williams lost about 15 lbs after his freshman year and was much more explosive. Aneyas going to 222 is probably too big and not as explosive.
He had one good series where he looked legit. The fumble at the goal line was almost catastrophic. That was a shitty run but he celebrated as if he had made the same run that Love made against Penn State. If I was playing below average like he is I would keep my ego in check. Should be enough Carrie’s to go around this week against Purdue.

I was definitely frustrated at the celebration penalty. Aneyas needs to make better choices but he was not alone. The entire offense (including CJ) was doing the same celebration along with him.
Agreed and I’m rooting for him too, but the joke writes itself here, no?It almost feels like he is trying to so hard that he isn't seeing everything like he was when he was the #3 back.
Agreed. He is a good dude, I just wish he had a little better vision when running the game. It almost feels like he is trying to so hard that he isn't seeing everything like he was when he was the #3 back.
At some point Williams will make a big play for us. I feel it in my plumsDudes like Williams and Greathouse are program guys that help teams win championships. They'll both have major roles to play in the second half of the season and beyond.
I like this three headed RB monster attack, but Williams is the third guy right now. Let these three guys keep battling it out and motivating each other. That RB room is so loaded right now.
I'll bet a mortgage payment this never happens.Since we're in silly depth chart engineering season, I wonder if you could play Williams in some 2 back personnel, operating as a slot/full back. He's legitimately a good receiver and given how he's a heat seeking missile for defenders, I bet he could throw some mean blocks.
Wait what? Lined up against a TE? Can you stop to think a little more before posting?I think with Williams you get him more involved in the passing game. Get two running back sets and let him get lined up against a TE. I think he can be an X factor catching the ball.
Maybe like a 70 yard reception or somethingAt some point Williams will make a big play for us. I feel it in my plums
Crucial detail addedMaybe like a 70 yard touchdown reception or something
I think you can understand what he was trying to say. He meant “as a tight end. I’ve seen a lot worse “word salads” IE.Wait what? Lined up against a TE? Can you stop to think a little more before posting?
LB sorryWait what? Lined up against a TE? Can you stop to think a little more before posting?
Williams will continue to get reps, particularly since he can catch the deep ball.
