Kyren williams lost about 15 lbs after his freshman year and was much more explosive. Aneyas going to 222 is probably too big and not as explosive.

Just did a double take. I show him at 210. 222 would be insane. Even at 210 he’s gonna have to run with more power than he is, he did run through arm tackles with force on his one good run Saturday.

Yeah, Price was a unit and I'm pretty sure he checked in at 205. I don't think Aneyas' game is predicated on being that big, either.

He had one good series where he looked legit. The fumble at the goal line was almost catastrophic. That was a shitty run but he celebrated as if he had made the same run that Love made against Penn State. If I was playing below average like he is I would keep my ego in check. Should be enough Carrie’s to go around this week against Purdue.

I was definitely frustrated at the celebration penalty. Aneyas needs to make better choices but he was not alone. The entire offense (including CJ) was doing the same celebration along with him.

Faison is off to the side not partaking, at least. That's what you expect from a captain.

Don't know if anyone saw his interview yesterday when asked about the ass chewing from MFMF... just a beautiful answer of accountability.
Some times it can be aggravating on Saturdays, but the way these dudes represent our team is something to be proud of.

He is a good dude, I just wish he had a little better vision when running the game. It almost feels like he is trying to so hard that he isn't seeing everything like he was when he was the #3 back.

Agreed.
2026 AW is not the same player as 2024 AW. When's the last time we've seen this regression? I honestly don't recall, especially for a guy so invested.

Dudes like Williams and Greathouse are program guys that help teams win championships. They'll both have major roles to play in the second half of the season and beyond.

I like this three headed RB monster attack, but Williams is the third guy right now. Let these three guys keep battling it out and motivating each other. That RB room is so loaded right now.

At some point Williams will make a big play for us. I feel it in my plums

Since we're in silly depth chart engineering season, I wonder if you could play Williams in some 2 back personnel, operating as a slot/full back. He's legitimately a good receiver and given how he's a heat seeking missile for defenders, I bet he could throw some mean blocks.

I'll bet a mortgage payment this never happens.

I think with Williams you get him more involved in the passing game. Get two running back sets and let him get lined up against a LB. I think he can be an X factor catching the ball.
