Keep him at Safety he's a frickin' baller.

As we have seen the past few seasons, secondary depth is crucial. There's no reason to move the guys that can play the position at a high level. Especially if we lose two guys to the draft.

He didn't get any defensive snaps in the MSU game, but showed up on the stat sheet with an assisted tackle. O'Brien played as the third safety. Shuler didn't come off the field. Talich played 43 out of 45 defensive snaps.

People with minor ankle injuries literally get booted for a week all the time to immobilize it and let it heal.

Freeman said in his presser that he will play if they can just wrap it and play through it. The implication was never he will wear a cast for 6 days and then be fine

And I imagine playing with a taped up ankle versus wrist is a similar decision, besides needing an open hand to tackle and play DB. Thus the logistical issue of a wrap in the decision. Not an indication of severity.
