CJ Carr hasn't had a run the first two games. I think he is a better runner than people think and will take off on a run for 50 yards when least expected but hopefully that isn't needed until the Miami game.

Thank God for cj and Micah. Apparently we need to just forget to run the damn ball. I love cj throwing all over, but if we can’t run it’s gonna bite us in the ass.

We got a lot of work to do offensively. He's the best throwing QB we've had since Clausen and we're wasting him with the lack of imagination offensively. He's our best player on offense and we're trying too hard to turn two RBs into elite players when they are not

I disagree. If he ends up tossing 3 ints all year which seems realistic at this point, he’s probably going to end up with 30 passing touchdowns 3200ish yards and 3 interceptions. Mendoza was 33 touchdowns, 6 interceptions and 2,989 yards.

The caveat to this is QB play across college football is much better this year than last year

I'm going to get destroyed for this, but Carr reminds me of Rodgers on the Jets. Over analyzing every play and flirting with the delay penalty.

At first it was cool, but eventually you just want him to snap the ball and run the play. Hopefully he stops second guessing himself and just goes with his initial read for a bit.

Most NFL QBs take the play clock close to zero making adjustments.

It’s not a second guessing thing it’s the green dots going silent at 15 seconds. Sure there are times where he’s doing more that needed or could do without, but I don’t think he’s engineering a net negative impact. There is a reason he’s one of the least sacked QBs in the country as a starter and it’s not pure OL talent.

It's the changing his mind with 2 seconds on the play clock that I dislike.

He's so good at the LOS. Almost too good sometimes cuz he wants to be perfect. That's the exact reason he's prolly the best QB in the country right now in regards to translating to Sundays. I just hope the Browns stay the frick away from him
