Mensah is gonna win the Heisman baring him shitting the bed in the ND game. Their schedule is too easy and they aren’t afraid to just air it out.

Toney has exactly 50% of Mensah’s yardage and TDs

The good thing is people have realized with the allure of Clemson and FSU gone yet again is that Miami’s schedule is 1000% easier than ours barring a turnaround from at least one of those teams.

This is what I love/hate about the "join a conference!" mouthbreathers. If we fully joined the ACC, our schedule would usually be easier than it is now, and we would win it almost every year.

I think that just as much as a lot of talking heads look for reasons to downplay ND, they look to hype Miami. A lot of dorks think the U was so cool and desperately want it back

Rice is an objectively bad team and they are 112th in SP+, FAMU is 243rd. Rice would be like 35 point favorites over them

Yup only reason the spread wasn’t higher was projected possessions. Literally you were betting time constraints not any read on FAMU

Realizing SP+ moved Wisconsin down to 75 after our game, below some really awful teams. Meanwhile DokterEntropy and Sargarin kept them at 46 and 31 which feels more appropriate. I know Connolly works for espn but there really are better rating systems out there than SP+ and FPI that they love.

I think it's tough because early season all of this stuff is just guesstimates based on last year's results + returning production + some weight on unproven transfers. I bet all of the systems start to converge around mid season.

All these power ratings are tinkering with how soon they erase priors versus new data. Bill must have really ramped up erasing priors. I know FEI historically is each week diminished and past the halfway priors go away and they are pretty transparent on it.

This is why I don't pay much attention to these until there are about 3-4 games played.

There are high school teams in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties that would have beaten FAMU last night.

Legitimately don’t think it’s haterade to says it’s the least impressive 800 and 8 TD start to a season:

I’ve convinced myself Mensah is gonna be lulled into feeling secure with bad habits only to have a 2023 Caleb Williams like performance

These 25 year old players should be embarrassed. 7 years in college.

ND should look to make this an annual series.
Miami would probably be keen as it is dawning on them that the ACC is horrid.

this would be awesome

It really would be an excellent matchup that CFB would anticipate. CFB's lifeblood is watching two teams who have historical bad blood continue to trade shots.

As much as I hate the prospect of losing a game like that, I'm equally motivated by the thought of a W. The Clemson series now looks like a turd, I think ND needs to find a way to have more flexibility in the immediate years and less in the distant years as those series seem to be falling away rapidly.

Agree that Clemson series is a turd. But I'm still looking forward to it- we still owe Dabo for 2015, 2018, 2020 (part 2), and 2023. Hopefully he's still around when the series gets up and running.

Announcers making criminal's offense against Wake sound like they're elite... All three teams they've played and are playing are all in the bottom 30 of both FBS and FCS... GTFOH....
