With NIL, he might in the sweet spot of a guy who is an elite college player who plays all 4 years because he's a bit undersized and wont go above round 3 in the draft, but could make $1M+ at ND in 2027. Different type of player but Sheldon Day fell into that category.

Our defense was nasty last year with lets be honest a fairly bad DL group (partciularly DT). If they can even step up to "not obvious weakness" look out.

I hope my armchair analysis is correct. Guys without situational needs/limitations always get the nod from me unless a dude is a true outlier/wrecker in defined situations. Brewu as the allrounder is, IMO, a better fit with the other dudes ND will be rolling out around him. The potential on this line is stunning.

Weak opinion by me, so not "authoritative", but I thought that he was better with more reps in the second half. When he was at Pitt, i thought that he needed lots of reps to "cook."

It was the first game. Once we were in control there's no need to tax guys physically in week 1. Push comes to shove by November I have a feeling the right guys will be getting the majority of the reps.

Thought it was worth sharing since it's relevant to this month. Francis Brewu is putting his name behind the B+ Foundation, which helps families of kids fighting childhood cancer (Sack Childhood Cancer). Sack Childhood Cancer is pretty cool. Go Irish!
