Agreed. Of all the backs who have been given carries, James is the only one that hasn’t impressed me. He hasn’t had many chances yet though and the staff loves him.

AW low key reminds me so much of kyren. We hit the lottery with him taking advantage of a weaker RB room and turning out to be phenomenal. AW has similar tools but kyren was so damn tough too

I think Osborne has the highest ceiling of any back on the roster. Once his injury is in the rear view he’s going to be hard to keep off the field. He’ll be taking carries from someone.

Your 1A doesn't have to be the the most natural ball carrier, he has to be the best all around back. Sometimes you're spoiled and they're both. Go back and look at every season, whoever was the most complete back usually saw the most playing time. It wasn't Cierre Wood, it was Theo Riddick. It wasn't Greg Bryant or GA III, it was Cam McDaniel. It wasn't Dexter Williams, it was Josh Adams. It wasn't Tyree, it was Diggs/Estime. Some of those guys were obviously no slouches at carrying the ball, but they also happened to be the everydown back that year among the rest of the RB room.

Until someone proves they can be a more complete back than Aneyas, I don't think he's losing the spot. He's shown he can run, catch, and block very well.

Yep, he is a complete RB. May not be flashy, but damn good!

My opinion: I think we’re totally underselling Aneyas. I think he’s a stud number one back. I haven’t seen any of his performances in the past that would tell me otherwise.

Dude averages over 7 YPC in his career and that includes plenty of leverage situations, like 2024 CFP when Love was banged up.

Idk why even our own fanbase seems to overlook his production over the past two years. I'm excited about our depth at RB as anyone but we have our top RB and it's definitely Aneyas. People should be more excited about him.
