When I first had a child, my wife would constantly be worried about kids being kidnapped, being killed by all sorts of "things", and so much more. It was a focus that she constantly had an eye out for these types of dangers. Essentially, her fear controlled exactly what she sought in the news and the media.

I also have a coworker who often sends long, detailed emails to make a point that could be conveyed with a few short, to-the-point sentences. In my opinion, he wants to come across as highly intelligent. He's not.

Democratic Republic, Constitutional Republic, IMO, it's all interchangeable because you know what I mean... That's just semantics.

Hey man, you're entitled to your opinion... Admittedly, I choose to have a bias and be hyper vigilant because the stakes are high.

I said it before, I will be the first to laugh at myself if the mid-term elections go off without a hitch and we all feel we had successful balloting without interference, but if we see ICE and NG at polling places before and on election day, and Trump, Miller, "Jim Bob" Mullen, and Marco "Stop the Communists" Rubio spouting out "elections were threatened, we had to do it," well then...

Mike Johnson and Congress are shifty - They folded the SAVE Act into this budget reconciliation bill along with the NDAA.
(This of course precluded the use of the filibuster since it's an emergency budget bill which only needs a simple majority of 51 in the Senate.)

I'm sure this Admin will probably have ICE and Guard (backed up by the IDF) for sure now at polling places to make sure everyone is surveilled, scanned, legal, and certified. It's 1984...
