His tape is pretty interesting. He’s obviously a big, strong, mobile kid, but he looks very raw as a LB.

I would say (1) he looks like he is always reacting to the play after it unfolds, and (2) he often starts with a bad angle and then re-adjusts.

I don't watch enough non-highlights to know how to process what I'm looking at, but he definitely doesn't look as developed as other LBs we've recruited. And, to me, LB instincts are hard to develop.

He looks like a beast, though. In another year, he would be the kid I assumed would grow and switch to OLB/WDE. Now we are overstocked at that position!

I don’t really think he and Henderson are comparable.

Henderson is elite and likely an immediate factor in the depth chart. Igwebuike has a high ceiling but a lot of development ahead of him.

It’s like comparing Premer and Hawk.

This class has is insane. Roman would have been a class headliner many other years and in 2027 he’s essentially just another guy.

Curious how they attack the second LB spot. Assume they go after a late riser / high upside guy and then take a proven guy in the portal with a few years of eligibility remaining.

My understanding is that Thornton is a definite take for the staff in a 3-4 WR class. Caleb Tucker is a top of the board NG target for them as well from what I gather.
