Mostly concerned about these scientists who apparently have never watched a single second of sci-fi/horror.

I AM BEGGING SCIENTISTS TO WATCH ONE (1) MOVIE ABOUT THE RISKS OF GENETIC EXPERIMENTS.

Gonna take one mutated wolf dog accidentally growing to 14 feet tall with bullet-proof skin to wreck everything.

Something about they were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, no one stopped to ask if they should...

I think if anything it will take the form of the Planet of the Apes virus. Or reintroducing microscopic diseases that we have eradicated. Thank god we have qualified people running HHS now that totally believe in regulations and scientific standards relating to the general population.

How so? If god taketh away it also gave us the tools to bringeth back.

This is fucking amazing! Being able to reintegrate diversity is a good thing. Diversity in biological systems is a good thing and is necessary to avoid genetic and population bottlenecks that lead to extinction events.

Also we are only a few steps away from Gattaca and genomic based human perfection lol.
Not arguing, but what integration are you talking about? I doubt they will be released into the wild. I don't know enough about this stuff, but it seems to me the DNA is too close to mate them (if they are of opposite sex).

Made a wallpaper out of one of the Artemis II shots NASA released. Thought some of you might enjoy. If you have an iPhone it looks particularly cool if you turn on the spatial effect.

Speaking of Artemis, if anyone was watching the broadcast during the lunar flyby, you would have seen a lot of the Science Team Lead, Dr Kelsey Young, Notre Dame class of 2009!

Joe Rogan had Michelle Thaller on his podcast in the last couple of days. I'd never heard of her, but she is a GREAT astrophysics communicator - like Brian Green. Talking about black holes, neutrino stars etc
I recommend having a look at that podcast episode.

Wish he would have more legit scientists like that on.
