Moonshine Sales.
we didn't get a stronghold because of those assumptionWe’re making an awful lot of assumptions about a kid simply because ND didn’t gain a foothold in this recruitment lol
... and his final 4 proves those assumptions correct. You can try to be PC all you want, but not every athlete out there will be interested in Notre Dame for various reasons. Even if Freeman has changed "what aisle they shop down," no school will interest every high school athlete. We’re making an awful lot of assumptions about a kid simply because ND didn’t gain a foothold in this recruitment lol
Which assumptions? I think what's been posted for the most part has been well documented .We’re making an awful lot of assumptions about a kid simply because ND didn’t gain a foothold in this recruitment lol
So what you’re saying is his uncle doesn’t like Hacienda or Mexican food at all?His Final 4 is the two national championships participants, his home state school and the premier WR university in the sport.
You guys see the final four and it’s a side eye
I can’t sometimes lol
Not every athlete is going to be interested in what Notre Dame has to offer. Sales has always struck me as someone who is interested in a big state school with a lot of co-eds and little interest in the academic side of things... His final 4 are not surprising, Miami may be private, but they have about 20,000 students and plenty of co-eds with little need to focus on academics.
Who cares. Let’s move on. Kid isn’t a fit and will probably transfer when he’s in college.
Not a surprise, he is a 'Bama native and a kid who probably hits the portal at least once.
Which assumptions?
Well Sales himself stated "he wants a BIG TIME program with a proven history of preparing wide receivers for the professional level. His interest in Indiana surged specifically after seeing them win a National Championship and win on a grand stage."

"He has stated he is not looking to "flip" once committed and values finding a long-term home, though he noted things could influence that decision.
Guess the feelings are pretty accurate.
so assumptions that were correct...
Can we just fucking schedule Indiana already and push their shit in (again)?Fong’d to Indiana
They’re on the schedule in 2030.Can we just fucking schedule Indiana already and push their shit in (again)?
BAM!They’re on the schedule in 2030.
I personally think this is a poor example if you are trying to prove why ND should be concerned. It is clear that Sales was not interested in ND even if IU was not rising. ND didnt "lose" him to IU; ND was never in it.I feel like there was a big discussion about whether or not the rise of Indiana as an in state football powerhouse was concerning or not and man you really have to have shamrock colored glasses on to think it's not.
I mean sure but we havent been on Sales for months at this point so I dont really get the correlationI feel like there was a big discussion about whether or not the rise of Indiana as an in state football powerhouse was concerning or not and man you really have to have shamrock colored glasses on to think it's not.
It doesn't concern me at all. I just can't stand them or their coach and they need to be knocked down a peg. Since when is recruiting in the state of Indiana vital to our success?I feel like there was a big discussion about whether or not the rise of Indiana as an in state football powerhouse was concerning or not and man you really have to have shamrock colored glasses on to think it's not.

Wow that’s fucking pathetic in any context but especially on the heels of a national championship. Way below the poverty line. But yeah we should be concerned. Why?
Edit: To put another way, do you think ND would rather Sales go to Alabama, Miami, OSU? Or would they rather the five star WR join IU's current 27 class of *checks notes* 1 four star recruit (Rated 90) and 3 three star recruits?
To all the Hoosier fans here just know this: your team was a cute little story for a bit. But your title will have an asterisk next to it because you were lucky enough to not face ND in the playoffs. You aren’t on ND’s level. You never have been and you never will be. You’ll be back in the dumpster where you belong soon enough. So enjoy the rest of your cute little story while it lasts.Wow that’s fucking pathetic in any context but especially on the heels of a national championship. Way below the poverty line. They don't recruit well (maybe in the 30-35 range , hahahaha), they just buy well. New mascot .... "IU dollar bills", thanks to Mark 'fuckass' Cuban! They just spent a shit load to revamp their b-ball team. I hate fuckin' IU (not as much as meatcicken though)! Why?

They will have a good class and will be fine. They just had the greatest/most accomplished team in cfb history. They are being more selective. They recently told Olgelsby to pound sand when he wanted a huge bag. He can enjoy Kansas. Why?

Okay? Should IE send them a congratulatory food basket or something? They will have a good class and will be fine. They just had the greatest/most accomplished team in cfb history. They've also been really busy since the playoff started. They spent part of this week in DC visiting the White House. That's what championship teams do. My notes tell me the last time ND was at the White House, Ronald Reagan was there.
But that could change next year. ND or Indiana could very well be there next year.
