Who is picking at the top of the 2027 draft. And how much NIL money are we giving him...

Have to think if we couldn’t retain J Love with NIL, why could we retain a top 10 QB pick. He’s probably come back for love of and/teammates not some no brainer NIL, IMO.

I would say more what other QBs are projected Top 15ish more than anything. If it’s actually a banner year for QB let’s say Arch, Moore, and 2 of Sellers/Sayin/Nico/Mensah/Leavitt then he could look to stay given a non guarantee of being QB1 - QB4.

If most of the above flop and it’s more than likely just Moore and Carr let’s say, then he’s probably gone.

Regarding Peter Bourque, He's a quality player and definitely a guy I'd take, but I don't know how much upside he has. I'd be tempted to take a kid like Jake Nawrot, who lacks experience, but has obvious tools and athleticism on a 6'4, 200'ish pound frame.

Bourque's a pretty darn good athlete too, we played his lacrosse team and he's a plus athlete. Probably a step below a Riley Leonard but he can move and is a big kid.

The worry with Borque is that he’s got a low ceiling. He’ll be entering college as a 20 year old I believe I read. If the floor is high, I’m fine with that following Grubbs/Jarrard

He definitely is a good athlete. Lumbers a little bit in space, but that's a big athlete coming down at you. Nawrot isn't nearly as developed (limited experience) but he's definitely a step quicker and more nimble looking. Both guys can move in space though and move the chains with their legs.

He repeated his Sophomore year when he transferred from Catholic Memorial to Tabor, so you might be right about his age. I've watched him the last few years and I'm really not sure what his ceiling is. The competition isn't the best, either. It's not hos fault, but the other teams in his league mostly have Ivy/FCS/D3 kids, and he doesn't get to play the CT boarding schools that have a lot of FBS kids. Tabor, however, has about 12 FBS kids on their roster, with 3 of them being his WR's.
