Honestly that’s not a bad time at all. I just thought he was faster than Love.
Never got to see Love return a kickoff. Would have been awesome to see him try but not worth the risk of injury. I know he was a track champ in high school. He expected to run a 4.2.

I remember at the start of the NIL era, a college football podcast was discussing how one of the changes it would bring is: how do you handle money? Apparently, a part of the character eval for the NFL Draft used to be "we're about to give this young man more money than he's ever seen. what's he going to do?" After seeing that clip, hard to believe there's a GM that doesn't want JD in his locker room.

Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network thought Price was the best-looking RB in the on-field drills. I watched, and he definitely looked the smoothest out of all the RBs.

Unfortunately, there's a good chance some GM will be mesmerized by Mike Washington's (Ark) 40 time and draft him ahead of Price, but Price's overall performance at the combine was more impressive.

Washington’s forty time helped his stock. But it didn’t do enough to make him the favourite for RB2.

Price's upper body strength and build is one of the best I've seen for a back entering the league. This will prove very beneficial for him in his pro career. These college backs are about to enter unchartered territory with NFL defenses. Price has the ingredients to be an excellent NFL back, and I fully expect him to be the 2nd back drafted next month behind Love.

Not in any world is he even close to Love. Both can run faster but Love is a legit 4.3 guy and Price is around 4.43 at best.

Then again we also have guys on the board who thought a nationally ranked sprinter (Lorenzo Styles Jr.) was slow.🤔🤔

I think they made that trade to give them the necessary capital to move up from 9. Package 9 w maybe this number 29 and go up to 4 or 5 if he’s available.

If you’re TN do you make that trade? Giants at 5 certainly should.

They could definitely. I would probably asks for Chiefs 2027 1st rounder before I ask for 2026 #29. But assuming no trade and Love comes off prior to 9, I find it hard to believe the Chiefs pick at 29 and 40 and don’t have a good chance to take Price.

It will be plenty of decent CBs available in the No. 29 range, so the Chiefs will be able to get a cheaper alternative, while stocking up on depth with the other three picks they acquired. They could also package a couple of picks and move up for a grand slam (Love) or even stay put and hit a homer (Price/Washington/CB).
