Having given this a lot of thought I’ve decided that I don’t mind Kash Patel getting blitzed with the boys because that’s way better than the alternative world where he tried to do his fucking job. The more time kash spends at the rink and trump spends waddling around the golf course the less harm they can do.

Politics was the last thing on my mind yesterday. Sure, Kash is an opportunistic douchebag that uses his position for selfish personal gain, but whatever, he's a hockey fan and an American. And yesterday was for all of us.

It's a shame it was like this at all. It's a shame it was 4 on 4 before. Just say we are doing 5 on 5. Because this is a stupid way to decide a gold medal in the biggest hockey game in the world.

I get they wanna wrap things up for TV or scheduling but it shouldn't be at the expense of the sport's integrity or something.

Canadians acting like they weren't overconfident, arrogant, trash talking douchebags before the game is the thing that really bothers me. After they took the L they suddenly turned back into the "golly gee willickers good guys" that are so humble and harmless and the Americans are so mean.

I don’t know if you’ve been on Instagram in the past day and a half but they are still being arrogant pricks. “We outplayed them. The better team lost. We still have more championships.” They’re being every obnoxious fan base (Yankees, Cowboys, SEC fans, Lincoln Riley) rolled into one. I posted this gif so many times yesterday.

The 3 on 3 complaints are the most pathetic. We played with 3 too. And they didn't complain when they won in 3 on 3 OT against Finland.

The FBI plays a huge role in coordinating the multi-agency/international security for events like the World Cup, Olympics, Super Bowl, etc. Kash certainly had official reasons to be there, and with him being a huge hockey fan I don't think it's that unreasonable that he went to the game.

These complaints are even more rich when you consider that the 3 on 3 format benefits the Canadians more than any other team. Maybe worry about scoring 5 on 3 before complaining about the 3 on 3. Don't remember them complaining about the 4 on 4 in Vancouver

So you can find examples of any other FBI director being at the Olympics? Nothing comes up on a regular search.

Even if there are other examples, I guarantee you're not going to find one chugging beers and celebrating like they won the gold medal themselves.

This is quite literally our only thing we dominate in. We hear the “USA USA USA” chants whenever an American team wins the cup (usually lead by a Canadian) so when we lose at our only chance to exert dominance in any sort of global arena it stings extra hard.

This is like the fat kid who’s only ever good at shotput or the wiry 5”7 small man syndrome kid whose dimensions only suit wrestling. This is all we got man.

Also some of the people in that barstool clip are people that people in Toronto hate, like Sid Sexiro is a class A bitch.
