I want to start the rumor of bringing in Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele as a transfer QB in 2027.

It will never happen... but it doesnt hurt to try to post it into existence.

Noteworthy from this article:
  • Tre Seggara has a higher GPA than his 40 yard dash
  • Looking solid for Driver and Dollar at TE
  • ND in a really good spot for Von Brandt and Cameron Wagner on OL
  • Strong standing with Abraham Sesay at Edge

It looks like Wiltfong put a prediction for Driver to Kentucky in today?

That's a bummer- he's gonna be a good one. I have to wonder if his uncle told him the ND experience isn't all fun and games. Now the staff's recent pursuit of Terwilliger makes more sense.

Or Will Stein coming into town. He developed (or found a way to maximize ability) the top TE in the upcoming draft.

Yes initially was opposed to switching to the other side of the ball.
That was only part of it. He also got suspended for like half the year in 1999 for having his girlfriend in his dorm room after hours. He said he thought ND was treating him unfairly and making an example out of him.

Looks like we're losing steam with top WR recruit Quentin Burrell as well....🤨🤨

With the coaching turnover in this cycle I think we're going to have to wait to see some new names pop up, as some guys we had hoped to land will fade away as options. ND isn't coming off a national championship appearance either, with all thay recruiting momentum as their backs.

I think people are going to be terribly disappointed if they're expecting 2027 to be another top 3 class. I think it winds up firmly in the top 10, but ND simply isn't at the top of the list for enough game changing talent in 2027 to push for that #1 overall spot like they did in 2026.

They needed to land multiple of.

DJ Jacobs
Maxwell Hiller
Monshun Sales
Kemon Spell
Joshua Dobson
Honor Fa'alave Johnson
Hayden Stepp
Xavier Sabb
Chris Whitehead
Cooper Witten
Kaden Henderson
Seneca Driver
Jackson Driver
Oluwasimilore Olobubola
Marcus Fakatou
Xavier Hasan
Layton Von Brandt
Quenton Burrell
Julius Jones Jr
Mekai Brown
Abraham Sesay
Roman Igwebuike
Cameron Wagner
Brayden Parks
James Halter
Luke Starcevic
Khalil Taylor
Sam Lejeune
Noah Roberts
Ace Alston
Jake Hildebrand
Cooper Terwilliger
Kellen Wymer
Teddy Jerrard (re-classified)

They needed to land 12'ish players off that list, with 3-4 in the top 30'ish prospects, in order to follow up the 2026 class with another elite one. That said, I think they can still land an extremely strong complimentsry class to that of the 2026 class. If they pull another top 5-7 group they will have continued to stock the roster with high end talent.

Disagree. Junior Day last year had this visit list:

Noah Grubbs - 4* FL QB - Commit
Thomas Davis Jr - 4* NC LB - Commit
Ben Nichols - 4* MI OL - Commit
Sully Garvin - 3* MI OL - Commit
---------------------------------------------
Jakobe Clapper - 4* OH LB - Offer
Kaydon Finley - 4* TX WR - Offer
Jonaz Walton - 4* GA RB - Offer
Tiki Hola - 4* TX DT - Offer
Tyler Merrill - 4* PA OL - Offer
Brayden Robinson - 4* TX WR - Offer
Devin Fitzgerald - 3* - AZ WR
Ebenezer Ewetrade - 3* NC Vyper - OFFERED

No Pouncey, JOB, Osborne, Premer, Dunham, Golden, Adams, McKeough etc. A lot of the heat in those guys threads was months removed from early February.

We didn’t really turn up 2026 until late spring and summer.

Always hope I'm wrong when I bet against ND, but I'm just not feelin' the program momentum with the coaching turnover that I did coming off the natty appearance two seasons ago. I think ND finishes 2nd and 3rd a frustrating amount in this cycle, yet still winds up with a quality, top 5-7 class ... Again, I hope I'm wrong and Marcus kills it again!

Are you clueless? Burrell is the 13th ranked WR, besides Jones who’s ranked 11, there isn’t another guy ranked better who we have a shot with. Brown isn’t coming here.
GTFO callin me clueless. I got 10 years of coaching HS football and know ball. He is fine but there are better guys on film. Do you wanna make a bet on his ranking by the end of the cycle?
