PSU will have a massive chunk of money to spend on the 2027 class. Wouldn’t be shocked if they refuse to be outbid here

Man I can’t stress enough how massive it is that ND can look at non-grad transfers now.
Seriously.. I genuinely lost sleep over the idea that ND was just going to fall behind in the NIL game & we were going to settle into a future of endless mediocrity.

It’s a huge relief knowing they’ll be able to flex their wallet & go after the best available players.

We literally went out & filled our perennially weak positions with players we don’t even recruit.

He committed to Penn State so early that you have to believe his heart is there. Had Franklin not been let go he probably never would’ve looked around. If the new staff proves something I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he ends up back there.
Yeah he wont end up back there he left because of all the neg recruiting franklin was doing

He was definitely looking around quite a while before franklin got canned

Reclassifying talk is definitely a thing on the PSU board.

Honestly I won’t feel a thing if PSU pays him a milly to reclassify. Smart decision by him, who cares find another RB on our side for 2027.
Yes. He is better than our two commits but we don’t need to break the bank for him

If Spell goes elsewhere, it just feels inevitable Seider and Co reel in another top level guy or two. Staff + recruiting operation + nil machine are too good right now.

Damn it feels good to be this confident in January.

Wild how recruiting has changed. Ten years ago this guy would be all anyone would be talking about. Now? Let me know when he wants to transfer after year one

It's debatable..if our guys were committed to O$U or Bama they would be 5⭐ as they should've been...All 3 of the backs are studs.

I think they should consider turning the page here. Feels like the kid is all over the map a la Nate Roberts, Chris Martin, etc.

We loaded up in 26. Everything changes fast in this sport, but no worries about 27 right now.

It really makes recruiting feel anti climatic. I think for ND it will be slightly different, but they obviously are not going to be immune to this environment. Spell is in high demand and surely knows it. This is likely a guy you would have to recruit just about daily even if he's on your roster and the thought of it seems exhausting.

With the current Irish talent and who's coming in, there's no more room at the Irish Inn!

Did he pull a fast one on PSU? With all the steam I thought he was gonna commit last week

Thomas inferred he was a ND silent at one point. And one of the 247 board insiders said he had been a PSU silent recently
