So does playing Notre Dame meet the P4 requirement for those teams scheduled to play ND?

Yes, but many teams will want the dregs of the game so the ACC and especially BC is about to very popular

Interesting take on Notre Dame’s future Independence…

Interesting listen I didn’t hear the name of this dude though. I know he says he works in media so it’s kind of cares to know where his connections are.

Can someone summarize please
Said with The media consolidation and the fact that many media outlets are hemorrhaging money Notre Dame will be forced at some point to go all in. he says his opinion that is why Pete went so hard on the AC at first. Otherwise, it makes no sense.

I would think that would give us more leverage to stay out until someone made us an offer we couldn’t refuse.

Entire CFB world gonna turn upside down when these media contracts and CFP agreement expire and these guys will be like"See, I told you they have join a conference."

Like ND isn't at the forefront of making a super league happen.

My thought is the opposite. Once these media companies realize they’re paying premiums for Rutgers vs Northwestern they’re going to want to make changes. Force the little teams out of the power conferences or force the big boys to go independent.

I think I saw another interesting hit on that youtube show linked above a month or so back that was talking about how ND (NBC) and the B1G (Fox) are natural allies in all of this, and at some point ND may need to do what is right for their valued partner NBC. Which I guess is going to the mat with FOX against ESPN.

Edit: watching now, it was the same guy that is on this hit. And he works for Universal NBC so I guess that sort of explains that.
Edit 2: I think I am watching this video for the second time.

ACC schedule was released

- Miami is at UNC the week prior
- SMU is at home against Va Tech then Wake the two weeks prior

No particular favors being done there. Some others:

- Stanford is @ Wake the week prior. Rough.
- UNC does have a bye prior
- BC has a brutal schedule overall: Va Tech, SMU, Pitt, Ga Tech, Duke, FSU prior to ND + Miami (two weeks after ND)
- Cuse is @ NC State then @ BC before our end of year game.

FSU will be lucky to win 5 against that schedule LOL

NMSU, CAr, ...then what? Some mix of UVA, UL, NCSt, BC, and Pitt? Maybe Clemson? They will not win all of those and won't catch Bama sleepin again. Can they get 4 of them?

[X] Doubt

Can't see them beating SMU, UF or Miami.

That team is so fucked, hah.
