Coming into today I was thinking a VA win would be part of our best case scenario. That might still be true, but right now by heart is saying screw VA, screw Duke, screw Miami x100, screw the ACC, screw ESPN and let the committee (ESPN’s puppets I know) figure out who gets the #10 spot behind ND. Fanduel probably has me more confident than I should be lol. O and screw the Miami dipshit fans and supporters as well.

This is literally only coming from ND sources though. I have not see anyone suggest this anywhere else. Anything is possible with incompetent people running the show, but I've never been a big believer in this conspiracy. The ACC has been fucked over in a far more egregious manner just 2 years ago and they didn't do shit.

(For the record, I felt then and now the committee made the right call leaving FSU out, but can acknowledge it was an unprecedented move to leave a P5 undefeated winner out of the playoffs.)

McIlroy just made the same comment right before half of the ACC game. I guess ESPN has updated their talking notes since the SEC game.

I said it Tuesday when the rankings were released. It set up perfectly in that as long as the games played out similarly, which they did, it would test every fabric of logic to not treat them similarly.

Somewhat inconveniently for us, the committee’s threshold for a blowout is 24 points but I think anyone watching that game would recognize it as a blowout with Georgia basically just opting to chew up the fourth quarter.
