You ****ers are way too Big League.

I have met no one famous.

But then again, I live in the vastly un-populated regions of the southwest US.

I met a bad *** horny toad.

I met Buck Owen's grandson and drank a ton of beer with him. Dave Owens was my crew boss at the JAC/WFAP in Sacramento. He also hailed from Bakersfield, like his grandfather.

I'm fourth cousins with Glen Campbell. I was actually related to his late wife. Billie Jean.

I brained Kendra Wilkinson's husband in highschool football.

I am fairly good buddies with Cody Ross of the Boston Red Sox, former NLCS MVP and World Champion San Fran Giants. "Ross is boss."

And I tebowed in front of a "Tebow's" store in the Amarillo Mall last Thursday.

Pics are inbound... lol.

This is funny on a few different levels. Obviously because you brained him. But possibly even funnier is that you don't even call him by his name even though he is in the NFL hahah just kendra wilkinson's husband lol

He had huge hair.

And nothing against the guy, I just hate Clovis.

Baskett seems like a class act though.

Does anyone else now picture OMM sitting in his study surrounded by leather bound books, wall mounts of exotic african animals, in a highback leather chair, wearing a smoking jacket and an ascot, smoking a pipe and sipping brandy?

I nominate him as "The Most Interesting Man In The World"

Colt McCoy - waited on him at IHOP
Wilford Brimley (of the Diabeetus fame) - Waited on him at IHOP too
Steve Yzerman
Niklas Lidstrom - played against his son in a hockey game, got his autograph on my jersey afterwards

Just think, if you had worked at Perkins instead, you might have met Tiger.

I've met Kareem Abdul Jabaar, John Hannah and many of the late 70's Pats, Joe Thorton, George Brett (one of the biggest DBags when I met him).

People of note I have just met but haven't really talked to other than hello and other pleasantries:

* Magic Johnson - my fav all-time athlete
* Montel (that talk show dude)
* Lindsay Lohan (she was already wayyyyyy too skinny and drugged out by then)
* Michael Clark Douglas (that dude from the Green Mile)
* Arnold Schwarzenegger
* Kobe Bryant's wife (too much make-up, extremely stuck-up but was nice to my wife and me. Her 4 million dollar forgive-me-for-cheating-on-you ring from Kobe is friggin' gaudy)
* The cast of Malcom in the Middle. I actually talked for a while to the famous kid from that show who is a HUGE Clippers fan. This was like 8-9 years ago when the Clippers sucked. He and I watched some of the game together at a restaurant while the cast was in the back at a party.
* Jenny McCarthy at her absolute apex. I went on that MTV game show Singled Out and got to meet her before hand. Smoking hot.

***My friends used to work at a bar/club in Burbank, which might as well be the "C" level capital of the actor's universe, so I've been lucky enough to meet all kinds of B and C level actors, guys like Screech (****) and Mario Lopez (HORRIBLE tipper) and people I've seen on shows but have no idea what their names are.

* In h.s., I went out with one of those girls on the montage at the beginning of the Wedding Crashers, before she got a breast job. She was already a skank but she would only make-out with me that night b/c she was still with her boyfriend and they were just in a big fight. Plus he was insane and I'm glad i never went out with her again, for my own safety LOL.

Athletes I have actually had real conversations with:
* Justin Tuck (went to his wedding)
* Ryan Grant (at Justin Tuck's wedding)
* Pat Haden (several times - a friend works for him at USC; one of the greatest human beings I have ever met)
* Mike Golic (was much nicer to my wife than me!)
* Derrick Mayes (phenemonal guy, vaulted to the top of my favorite ND athletes)
* Oscar de la Hoya (from the same neighborhood of where I used to work)
* Nick Perry (future 1st/2nd round pick from the Trogans; really cool guy who had a lot in common with my wife in regards to where they grew up. Nice kid!)
* Tons more USC players over the years, guys like Joe McKnight, George Uko (going to be a beast this year), Marquise Lee, Brandon Hance, Matt Kalil, etc etc.
* Lakers - Byron Scott, Orlando Woolridge, Michael Cooper (at different times, all because I worked with inner-city youth and we used to go to charity events)
* Ronnie Lott (showed me his unbelievably large Super Bowl ring)
* Rick Neuheisal
* John Lackey (at a bar after an Angels game - that dude can drink!)
* Several Dodgers out on the town, especially Russell Martin, Odalis Perez, and Rafael Furcal; 3 more guys who love the nightlife, and would go to the same bars/clubs as me buddies and I in Alhambra, CA.
* Several baseball players - Jim Edmonds (he of the insane over-the-head diving catch vs the Royals), Kirk Gibson (great guy, when I was 10 he gave me his baseball cap before an Angels game on my birthday, during that magical 1984 baseball season of theirs, which i promptly wore to school every day and eventually ruined and lost), Mark Kotsay in Las Vegas.
* My brother is a famous skater so I've met several famous skaters like Lance Mountain, Paul Rodriguez, Chad Muska, etc.
* The girl from Soul Surfer (the real one, not the actress). Sat behind her on a flight and we struck up a conversation. Man, she's cute and she's got a banging body. Also EXTREMELY sweet.
* GOIRISH - baller at Valpo!

Looking at my list, it sucks compared to guys who have met really interesting people...

I completely forgot to add these two to my list earlier:
Candice Parker and Shelden Williams-One of UT Women's GOAT list, and Shelden is on the the best ever at Duke(and one of my faves)-I was working at Buckle Clothing in Knoxville in 2007 and she apparently came in to shop there all the time, but they both came in and were incredibly nice.

OMG OMG OMG! I envy you so much I hope to one day meet him he's responsible for creating many things that have led to happiness in my life. I need more details on that, man, excelsior!

I got to meet him twice, actually. I was a huge spender on comic books in the 90's and the owner of the store used to give me VIP treatment whenever "Stan" came to town. The owner knew him very well and he would offer signings for him. The first time was at his store. Stan spent time with every one of us (who paid extra for the privilege) and cracked me up because he still talked with late 60's/early 70's slang.

He told us how he had to work his way up through the company (before it became Marvel) and was basically a cabin boy/gopher for whatever they needed.

The second time, due to the overwhelming crowed at the store, it was at a conference center. Still got to chat with him and he was grumpy on this one. Not with the folks he was signing for but he was annoyed with the owner because things weren't setup exactly how he wanted. He is a fairly particular man ) But still nice enough to me and everyone in line to get things signed. I still have several comics upstairs he personalized for me when he autographed them.

Overall a very cool dude. And yes, a genius and trailblazer for the comic book industry.

I met Kiffin too unfortunately.Being from Knoxville during his whole debacle, my family and I had gone to dinner at Calhoun's on the River, and were leaving to go to a UT men's bball game right after when we ran into him jogging along the river...seemed nice at the time. Never would I have known he was such an f'ing douche.lmao.
