Erskine is a familiar name. Carl Erskine was a pretty good pitcher back in the day.

Carl does a lot of motivational speaking now. I believe he was the only starting pitcher from the '55 Dodgers team that has not been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Wonder if there is any relation?

Yeah a lil much with having 2015 prospects up already........unless there is legit interest from ND I wouldn't put anymore up as it will litter the forum especially if no interest comes about....focus on 2013 and perhaps 2014 down the road.

I've only been posting top '15 recruits who I think could be a good match with Notre Dame. Obviously, none of these kids are being actively recruited (legally) yet, but they make sense for ND (imo) and are already on the radar of other colleges.

If mods/admin don't want me to post anymore, I'll certainly respect that.

The rule of thumb is if they have an offer from ND or are receiving interest from ND then make a thread for discussion. If not then don't put it up. It's a common courtesy to the forum.

I didn't create the 2015 board, just thought I'd contribute to it since there were no threads yet. I thought I'd be adding value to the forum. All of the kids I've listed project as top recruits. Whether or not ND pursues them remains to be seen, but I expect all of them to be national-caliber kids.

Cinjun is not related to Carl Erskine, but his dad Robert is a Univ. of Houston school record holder in the javelin 248.8ft, collegiate record holder 1986 and 7th in the nation in the 88 Olympic trials.

To be fair, for a while there it looked like that's exactly what you were doing in the '13 cycle. Not trying to be a jerk but how many threads are sitting in the '13 forum created by you without ND interest right now? Those in glass houses...

Blame 247Sports then for having Notre Dame with "interest"

I have no intention on putting up threads unless I heard or saw some level of interest with Notre Dame whether it's mutual or not or yet to be determined.

If over time the interest falls off and I already made the thread....not my fault..I can't see into the future...there was interest so I put it up.

Count up all the recruiting threads I have put up and contributed my time to this site.
There may be one/two sour grapes in the bunch...however I doubt it.

I put a lot of pride in the recruits threads I make by putting all the information I can so YOU can form an opinion on the recruit and post for discussion.

I can understand being called out for expressing my opinion on this forum but not the work I contribute to it.

Little update, he's getting interest from Ohio St and Rutgers according to 24/7, Rivals lists the same and includes...Miami, PSU and Syracuse...looks like we're no where to found early on which isn't surprising since we have shown interest in a few more local, and higher caliber 2015 QB recruits
