I say stuff like that all the time on my facebook. It could be anything from being at the library to the mall.

Maybe he's at the proctologist's office.

Which reminds me of the guy that asked the proctologist to use two fingers.

Of course the puzzled proctologist asked, "Why?"

"Oh!" answered the patient, "For a second opinion."

You know, as much as we love ND...it's still school.

I think he's allowed to not want to be at school sometimes.

You know.......

These players need to understand the power of their words in the social media. In this particular case, he could be talking about his time in a stall fighting through a bad case of Montezuma's revenge.

But in its most literal form, there is going to be a knee jerk perception that he is talking specifically about ND, and then what does it mean? Can't stand the weather? Made a poor decision about his choice of school? Division within the team?

We all know this is enough to turn into an unsubtantiated SH**storm on any major college football website.

Met this kid, love this kid. Think he loves ND. But come on, man! This is the world of overreaction!

People that check his facebook status, report on his facebook status, and know his birthday off the top of their heads probably need to find other things to do with their time. That's borderline stalking...and at the least, pretty creepy.

If you live in South Bend and haven't said that at least once after the first month, you're filthy rich, hooked on that dro, and drinking imported water from Micronesia on the daily.

For most human beings though, it's a normal part of the experience and a healthy reaction.

Assuming he is talking about ND/South Bend and not Menards ....

Yeah, it not like parsing what he says there, here.

I didn't look on his profile to report his newest status. It was on my news feed and I thought it was intersting so I shared it with you guys

Ehh, I don't know.

I don't like facebook, hate it in fact. But I happen to think it's a bit like having a fan club that people can check in on to see how you're doing. That's kind of the whole point right?

If people don't want randoms checking how your fan club is doing, don't add randoms to your fan club.

I don't think it's stalkerish at all, although I understand where you're coming from.

It's like standing in you window naked, with no curtains or blinds.

PS. Some people don't have a life, and some people are just part of the astronomical ratio.

wtf is going on?

He just heard about Punxsutawney Phil (doesn't make the weather reports in FLA), looked at the WeatherChannel, saw what's coming east from Nebraska and Iowa, and asked his roommates, "What's Lake Effect Snow?".

What's wrong with that?

Nothing, but people who are enjoying the show, shouldn't really take the time to make a whole lot of hubub about it. May distract other viewers.

This is kind of a wake up call. I know I'm terribly obsessed with ND football, but this is getting out of hand.

I'm sitting at my PC at 10 AM on a Saturday hitting f5 hoping someone updates me on a 19 year old's facebook status.

Ouch.

That made me laugh...

I actually had that moment when I first moved to Utah...within a few miles of the GSL. When you drive to work with 2 feet of snow on the top of your car, and get there to see the snow they got is 2 inches...that is you object lesson in "Lake Effect".

I know you get a good lake effect from the Great Salt Lake, but doesn't it melt itself after it is fallen?
