I hope he gets his **** rocked the first week of practice and learns to keep his mouth shut.

This kid is trouble

This kid is trouble

He comes from my hometown York Pa...He went to Red Lion his first two years I believe of high school. He was ran out of town because of numerous problems with teammates and fellow students. Never knew him personally but we had many mutual friends.

The best story I heard about his huge ego was one time he threw a house party a weekend his parents went out of town. The cops showed up to break up the underage drinking..He opened the door looked at the officers and said "Do you know whose house this is?" I kid you not.

Obviously im very happy this young man didn't end up at ND

Wooow. What a D-bag....I hope Jarron smacked the S*it out of him when they played...I also have beef with the person who wrote this

Chad Kelly most sought after in WNY History - Chad Kelly Recruiting Update - TigerNet.com

It was linked in the Yahoo article. It says Kelly is the most sought after recruit in Western New York history.....Hi my names Jarron Jones... I had offers from ND, SU, PSU, FSU, BAMA, Florida, UNC, VT, Miami(FL), scUM, tOSU, PITT...get my point? It also says that good athletes (boy or girl in ANY sport) come out of Western New York every DECADE OR 2...seriosly?.....SERIOUSLY???? I can name 3 people from my High School that are big time Division 1 athletes..
1)Dane Miller Rutgers BBall 95th overall on Rivals. his freshman year he dunked over DeJuan Blair, and was a key reason Rutgers beat ND this year ;)
2)Shenise Johnson Miami (FL) Womans BBall player, Mcdonalds All-American in HS and current ACC player of the year and is on the Womans USA team.
3)Ashton Broyld Syracuse QB/ATH, lesser of the 3 but a known athlete as he appeared on an MTV reality show called "The Road: To the Army All-American Bowl", He was close to being NY's fist 1000 rushing 2000 passing yard QB and won a State Championship almost single handedly.

Though Western, or any part of, NY rarely has High caliber FOOTBALL players, it is completely ignorant that they state "Once every decade, and maybe even two, a student-athlete comes along, whose talent is exceptional and becomes one of the top players in the Nation in his/her sport."

I can go on forever....Gregor Gillespie Division 1 National Champ in wrestling, High School All-American...Actually thers about 35 Wrestlers that are All-Americans from Western NY in the past decade....A name to look out for in the upcoming NFL draft Randy Colling, a former 2nd place finisher in the HS wrestling Nationls(he plays DT and also teamates with both of Jarrons older brothers FYI so was I)

Should I add Arthur and Jon Jones (yes the Ravens DT, and UFC light heavyweight champion of the world.....No relations with Jarron) they were born in Rochester then moved just outside of Western NY...that still counts right? Kidding aside WNY will always have a bad rep in football on the national level even though it has arguably the best teams in NY. We are more known for our Wrestlers, Lax players, and BasketBall.

In conclusion, people should really do some research before writing an article that makes such BOLD statements. End Rant

oh wait, again....Chad Kelly is a douche.

Wonder if Dabo will fax him back an "additional conditioning guide" in response to his LOI. Will probably help with the extra gassers he'll have come camp.

Upperclassmen will be trying to kill him come camp, whether he's got a red jersey or not.

I would punch this guy in the throat and as he is gasping for air I would remind him we are in South Carolina ........things are a little different down in the South

How about Johnny Flynn (Timberwolves), Paul Harris (stupidly came out of 'Cuse a year early, now in NBA D-League) and James Starks (Packers RB) all on the same high school basketball team at Niagara Falls less than a decade ago.

Also, ErieIrish... you need to take that failure Miller out of your sig. Can't wait til we trade him.

Nice. I'm from Erie if you couldn't guess lol and I go to Merychurst now. I know a few kids who play/used to play for Gannon

Nice! It wouldn't happen to be certain members of the Romantic Era would it? haha

yeah i actually meant to mention them! My HS played the falls my junior year and they only beat us by 8. we were a really good team to but once Paul Harris dunked on our center from 1 step inside the faul line, I knew we had know chance haha. Btw I had never been so annoyed with an opposing teams fans then I was with them. Almost brawled when 3 kids called my gf a b*tch. haha FYI they turned out to be right lol

I laugh in Clemson's general direction if this is the kind of character they're recruiting. Lemme know that works out for you...

I went to school with all those guys (Niagara Falls). Starks was actually my quarterback and I was a TE. played baseball with Flynn and Harris is a tool who will probably be dead by 35. . Our basketball team was sponsored by Nike and lost 3 games in 3 years or something ridiculous like that.

I've got stories on all these guts that would make Kelly look like a saint. Flynn is the most unfortunate. He really started off doing things the right way. A student, good kid/family, always laughing, super nice, all around good guy. But then he got drafted and apparently the money got to him.

Side note, I also played against the Gronkowski family. Rob the TE was only a soph when I was a senior and his brother was a QB with offers from ACC and ND. eventually signed with Maryland and never really played. I sacked him twice in our league playoffs but we still lost. Rob was small and didn't weigh much, want much of a factor, but apparently three dude hit puberty the next year and grew like 6 inches and 40#s.

Western New York love baby!

I remember my school (Lockport) beating the Falls when we won the section in my freshman year (I was on JV), so I must have seen you play haha.

lol sr yr was 2004 -- We lost to lkprt, Jehmaul Fleuellen (sp) had a big day. I made the front page making a sideline tackle against him. He was another tool and waste of talent.

god i hated that game. Starks had just lost us the game vs NT 2 weeks before, we were a game back for first and in a tie with lockport at that point and our team just gave up in the 2nd half. We started the season beating OP Jamestown (huge win) loss to NT and then beat Clarence. Come in to lockport, at lockport, and crapped the bed which set the tone for the rest of the season. We had so much talent yet we wasted it like no other -- sucks

@Bushido247: Rumor going around that Chad Kelly's swag has already gotten him beat up by his own roommate at Clemson.

I have read somewhere else that this kid is a serious headcase. This doesn't surprise me.
