And Clausen had the benefit of learning from the same guy who turned Tom Brady into one of the greatest NFL QBs of all time. Can you imagine what Rees could have done, under Weis' tutelage?

I know that the offenses were different, but we don't take rip on Clausen's great year because he had great skill position players but we say that Tommy, is only that good because of his skill position players.

Clausen was more than capable and WILLING to spread the ball around. An otherwise foreign concept to Rees.

NO ONE other than the OP and yourself are suggesting Tommy was "that good".

I don't think that Rees is that good (I actually want Golson to start) but I think we are way too hard on Rees and the people on the board treat him like ****.

Seriously? This again?

Go look at the percentages of who caught how many completions, this year, for ND. Michael Floyd and Tyler Eifert were out in front, but not by any more than you would expect, considering how good they are.

I never said you couldn't rip on Jimmy ,but to try and defend Tommy and ignore the D*MN elephant in the room is just F*CKING crazy!!!! Tommy is not and will not be the answer at the QB position at NOTRE DAME and if you think that he is or can be your F*CKING delusional....

You are right I did screw that up with floyd and Tate. And so, that proves my point. Floyd and Tate were this years Eiffert and Floyd.

What do you want me to say? That Floyd and Tate weren't stud receivers? That Rudolph wasn't damn good himself? Obviously that's not the case. But the fact that you're even trying to compare Rees to Clausen is comical. Compare their QB stats if you want to make a comparison. Please, try to justify that.
