Floyd will be a 1st rd pick. Mayock believes Hayseed will be higher riser in the draft. The rest seem like mid to late rd picks.

I'm surprised Dever got invited and not Robinson. Maybe because Dever is a tackle?

Jonas Gray absolutely deserved an invite.....he had a hell of a senior year. I could actually see jonas go late third early fourth.

With his size and speed he could turn into a very good NFL player. The only thing is teams get really scared of injuries, especially torn ACLs. Demarco Murray dropped to the third round last year because of such an injury.

Mayock talked about Gray moving into the late rounds of the draft before his injury. 1 year breakout guy (i.e. not sustained/consistent production) plus an injury means he's unlikely to do much better than that. Especially since he probably won't be able to participate in the combine unless he has some miracle recovery. Love Jonas Gray but teams don't look through ND glasses when evaluating.

I'm guessing Jonas goes undrafted. Someone may take a waiver in the 6th or 7th round but I highly doubt it. If he wouldn't have got injured I think he would have shot up the boards, especially with an impressive time at the combine. I'm really surprised Ethan didn't get an invite. Doesn't make too much sense. I think he's capable of playing multiple positions on the defensive line at the next level. I think he can play DE in the 3-4, inside and outside in the 4-3. I don't know I think he's somewhat versatile. We will see.

I'll be OBJECTIVE and RIGHT like I was last year. You may want to look away if you hate the truth...

Floyd. That is all. Nobody else worth drafting on the pro level.

Wow....you got your irish goggles on tight.

After that injury and the fact that he's really not NFL speed to begin with....I doubt he's drafted.

See, Robert Hughes.

You're addressing speed and comparing him to Hughes?

Is Cierre Wood NFL speed? Because according to Cierre himself, Jonas is just as fast as him. I think we've seen this year that Jonas has a build and attributes to go with it that are hard to find. For a guy like him it simply comes down to the mental part.

Does he deserve an invite? Based on this year I would say yes. Will he be drafted? Probably not anymore.

But comparing Hughes and Gray is crazy.

Wait, so even if Blanton or Hayseed are drafted can you claim to be right because no one else was in fact "worth" drafting?

Or are you saying no one besides Floyd will be drafted?

Thought we'd see GG get an invite too. Played better towards the end of the season and was pretty good in 2010.

Yeah, don't really see anyone other than maybe Jonas Gray (if he heals well) making a big NFL impact.

No way Gray is drafted. He can't work out, and he only had one good year. There will still be questions about his hands as well. Good thing for him running backs usually can find a place no matter where they are drafted if they are capable.

As long as Gray can get healthy, he'll have a decent shot of playing in the NFL, whether he gets drafted or not.

Better to have one spectacular season than four mediocre seasons like Allen & Hughes---and Gray has much better size and speed than both of them.

Hey, Notre Dame extremists, I'm simply saying that no one else will be drafted. And to a degree, no one else would be worth using a draft pick on.

And yes, Gray and Hughes are comparable because both are slow and both served nearly the same purpose.

And Cierre Wood was being VERY kind to his teammate saying "he's just as fast".

Get a grip. I'm a Notre Dame fan, too. I'm just realistic when it comes to the NFL draft and what they're looking for....And Blanton or Hayseed won't sniff the board.

MUCH better??

And you're right about the one great season. And I didn't say he wouldn't play in the NFL, but I'm very confident that he won't be drafted.

I didn't say Gray wasn't better than Hughes...but they are comparable players with similliar talents.

I don't see Gray being supremely faster than Hughes.

And for the record...I hope they all succeed at the next level and kick a$$.

It's just I had my glass of reality this morning. It's put me in a funny mood. I'm actually THINKING with my brain, not with my heart.

Hughes ran a f-ing 4.9 at his Pro Day. Gray is much faster, and is better at everything.

Your "I'm a realist and no one else is" act is getting old.

Not sure if serious... Gray completely outran the whole Pitt team. Hughes can't run. Jonas will run between a 4.45 and a 4.55... like mentioned before Hughes ran a 4.9.

In one season, Jonas rushed for 800 yards. The most Hughes ever rushed for was half that. Its not even close. Jonas was at a whole another level this year than Hughes ever was.

We'll see come draft day, now won't we??

And it's only getting old, because you realized that you wasted money on those Jonas Gray PJ's......

Come on. Lighten up. Don't get your butt hurt because "Ima bein all mean to jonas n stuff"

Either way, I'm interested to see Jonas's 40 time, coming off the knee injury.
