'12 OH OT Taylor Decker (Ohio State Verbal)

He is an impact player on the line. A huge loss if he moves onto Osu. He has an aggressive streak that we need. Huge lids IMO if he leaves. I don't feel real great he signs. This just makes me sick. We take studies forward and this may happen, Darby. And what not. We need all the talent we can get. Just like the top football schools.

Please td stay with the Irish.

I'm not in panick mode, but 95% of the time where there's smoke there's fire in the recruiting world. My money's on Decker being at OSU.

I'm guessing that Decker is gone come signing day. Urban took our coaches and now it's to the players. I hate Urban and Osu.

I hope Decker stays because it may send a message-Notre Dame is solid. Meyer is really a cunning opportunist and Mr Decker could send a message that this guy cant just snap fingers or hire anyone he wants to get what he needs. In the end I expect Decker to end up at osu. It is beyond my comprehension how someone would pass up playing at Notre Dame in any capacity but in the end its up to the young man. It seems like he's trying to do whats best for himself so I wish him well-as for me it would be a no brainer. I dont think I could ever play for a man like Urban Meyer-just to many instances of mixed messages and out and out opportunist for his own gain. Play at Notre Dame young man you'll never regret the choice. I'll put it another way-20 yrs from now when you walk into the stadium with your wife and kids for alumni days which program would you rather have been a part of-now there's the real question.

I feel like I am watching an actual ND football game, its the beginning of the third quarter and the opposing team just scored to take a seven point lead...and half the stadium gets up to leave because in their eyes there is no way we are going to come back and win the game.

Sometimes the negativity just blows my mind. I'm with Whiskey...Scout is the only one reporting, and even still, its just a visit.

I don't understand why you're taking frustration out on Notre Dame fan's who follow recruiting? You obviously follow what's going on with Notre Dame and recruiting. Is it so wrong to show concern whether or not a top recruit end's up at ND?

I will admit that this time of year and basically the whole season of fall, I'm a very disgruntled fan. I'm a different person when it comes to Notre Dame Football. I just miss the 9 year old version of myself in 1993 when Notre Dame was my version of Disney World. I still feel the magic when i walk on that campus, every year that passes, it seems like that magic is long gone. I still have faith that the Irish can return. The Faith is just waning.

Everyone needs to be ready and brace yourselves for his de-commitment from ND. It is what it is but I don't see him turning down all the love he will receive from OSU this weekend. Prepare for the worse but ND will survive.

Just opinion, i mean i'm sure they're slinging their best sales pitch and the kid obviously has emotional attachment to Warinner and Hinton. Just hope he sees the big picture.
