yeah i understand they are in the sec.. i just pretty much meant Bama..Idc who the qb was.. that defense was suffocating. vandy doesnt have the pressure like lsu has either.. man them fans are crazy.. i just looked at tigerdroppings.. and im glad im not jordan jefferson tonight..

Plenty of five stars fall by the wayside but, bottom line is that if Kiel has got "it", then he's got "it". I do think it's unfortunate, however, that he picked LSU. Les Miles doesn't have a history of developing NFL quarterbacks, if that is indeed Kiel's aim. The reason he's gotten the "mad hatter" label is in part because of the crazy plays he attempts (mostly on special teams) that he's forced to try because his offenses over the years have been predictable and ineffective.
I know that seems like a crazy assertion given that his team average about 40 points per game this year (sans Alabama games). But I think you need to look at the teams they were playing....even the ranked teams have pretty poor defenses (Oregon, Arkansas, West Virginia).
National Ranking Total Offense LSU:
2011: 60
2010: 81
2009: 102
2008: 51
2007: 9
2006: 14
2005: 34
That averages out to a rank of 50th....and you might note that his three best years featured at least two solid years of Saban's recruits (ahem).
When LSU runs up against good defenses they usually look weauxful.

I love how the announcers are just like, "Well, 6 players...anyways...good game." Nobody really cares. lol
Good luck to the kid. LSU doesn't have a history or developing their QB's very much, and having to face that Bama Defense every year is going to be lots of fun for Gunner. Good thing he's gonna have that loaded LSU offense for help, like.....er....ummm..... I'm sure there has to be someone on that offense who can help him, right?

I'm not one for touting they young guys until they prove themselves. I got to the Major Leagues after signing as a free agent for $3000. Point is you dont know what is inside a player and how he will perserver/work toward his craft. I think this kid made the right choice-he'd get chewed up at Notre Dame. Wish him well down there.
