Yes. It's been far too long since this as surfaced.

On second glance, I'm actually a little worried. The poster on II said he's hearing that Don Bosco's coach is headed to Rutgers.

Ironman, where art thou?

I am here. Which coach?

Not buying this rumor, My source told me that unless Shumate had a complete change of heart in the last 12 hours nothing has changed. And there's still plenty room for Wright.

Former LB for Rutgers. Assistant Football Coach and Phys Ed teacher at Don Bosco.

Wouldn't it be weird for a BCS program to hire an high school assistant coach? I can understand hiring a successful high school head coach, but an assistant seems like a real stretch.

Not with the Don Bosco boys coming up in the next few years. Desperation.

The only way i could see that happening is if your a Coordinator then you'd have the possibility to come in as a position coach, more then likely though a college would ask you to volunteer for a season then do an internship. After that either you'd get hired as a full time assistant or start sending out your resume.

If they can get two this year it would be beyond huge for them - Carroo is committed, they are probably third for Yuri, and Darius Hamilton is a possibility and would be a program changer. Already grabbed a very important commit this week in LB Quanzell Lambert. Rutgers has never been able to land the big recruits out of South Jersey before.

He did play there under Schiano and looks like he was some sort of grad assistant. Maybe getting an entry-level assistant job? And it's just Rutgers.
