Maybe I'm a homer, but I can't believe anyone would rather play for Cal than ND, assuming ND wants you. Objectively, the likelihood of a Cal "dynasty" or a Cal run for the national title in the next five years must be considered nil. USC is ascending again, and Oregon is loaded.
